Sorry, long post but important info: Yesterday I worked my first Carsland Fast Pass shift. It was super early in the morning but it was a wonderful change from my nightly World of Color shifts. It was fun to welcome the guests into the park and see them eager to begin their magical day. While attending to the fast pass line I had a guest ask if I had a pen (which I never do and should do) and I apologized and joked that I was the worst CM ever! She then began to tell the little girls with her that if they get separated to look for someone dressed like me. I then squatted down and showed the girls my name tag and explained that not all of us dress the same so they should look for someone with the same name tag as mine. I also told them to look for the people in the white shirts with red ties and hats and those people are security and could help them. I advised the Mom's to take individual pictures if each child that way they could show security and it would be pictures of how they looked that day in the clothes they are wearing. I also advised the Mom's to write their cell phone numbers on the stomach if each child. The kids weren't old enough to know their numbers but were old enough to show their tummies to give the number. None of us ever want to think about the possibility of being separated from our kids during a fun family outing but it's important that we take the necessary steps to ensure we have a good plan in place just in case. Hopefully this information is helpful.
