Good morning. I made it back home safe and sound. I wanted to give you guys a review of the Ambassador tour I participated in yesterday as part of Limited Time Magic. They will be conducting this tour once daily this week only. Disney is also hosting similar tours at WDW featuring Tower of Terror. **Spoiler alert** If are taking the tour, you probably want to stop reading now! There were 14 of us in the group with two Ambassadors, Megan and Sachi. Both were very nice and knowledgable. We met at the Opera House and started the tour there. This tour featured Disney's contributions to the 1964-1965 New York's World Fair. They spoke first of Mr. Lincoln and Walt's love of the man. They went into detail on the creation of Lincoln and his presentation at the fair. We did not stay for Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. From they were traversed down Main Street to Tomorrowland. We learned about Ford Motor Company's sponsored attraction, Ford's Magic Skyway. They actually had 50 real Ford Mustangs in use on this attraction. It was the predecessor to the Peoplemover and other omnimover attractions such as Haunted Mansion. GE sponsored Progressland featuring the Carousel of Progress, with that lovely song which stuck in our heads the remainder of the tour. The last attraction featured was its a small world. This was sponsored by Pepsi benefiting UNICEF. The flume technology was new for the time. The attraction features the work of Mary Blair and Alice Davis. Now that song is stuck in your head! We did ride this attraction. To get back to Main Street, we boarded the disneyland railroad. We viewed the dinosaur diorama which was originally featured in Ford's Magic Skyway. The tour completed back at the Opera House. We were provided a copy of a 1968 park map. The tour took just under an hour overall. It was pretty good, kind of a scaled down version of A Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps tour.
