One year ago today I had no idea that my life would be changed as much as it has by this app. It has literally saved my life. Two years prior I had been diagnosed with bipolar 2 after suffering with it for 42 years. I mention this because the stigma associated with mental illness must be removed from society. I could not function socially as the Drs played with what meds I should take and the only place I felt comfortable was Disneyland. And then along comes MW with all these complete strangers that like Disney like I do and they talk about it and post pictures in the Lounge. I all of a sudden had no problems! No illness, no unemployment, no worry about bills...nothing!!! And these people are silly and caring and uplifting! Slowly I would put in a comment or picture here or there and contribute urgent breaking news that I was watching a princess movie of some sort. Or I would post a ton of selfies of hubby and I in the park hoping for people to find us and yes, I was teased about all of it. I even held a bunch of meet ups and nobody came. LOL Other people would have said, "Forget this group!" But I was in Heaven and this was the best therapy for me as I came to terms with how different my life was going to be now. It was my safe place...it was my home. And now a year later it is amazing how well I feel at times and I have gained knowledge that I never would have known about DLR and the best thing about MouseWait, all of you! Each and every one of you are my friends and touched my life in a positive way. You have encouraged me, laughed with me, cried with me, hugged me when I needed it most and yes, drank with me! LOL But most importantly you've let me be me which I've never been able to do before. I have life long friends that I will love and cherish forever and tons of beautiful memories that I mostly remember. (I blame Trader Sam's) So cheers and thank you to all of you for being amazing and especially to Admin for giving all of us a place to find each other and ourselves. I love you all!!! 😘😘😘 OH! It just dawned on me some of you may not know who is in the pic with me...that's Admin! LOL

Groundbreaking for the Temple of the Forbidden Eye occurred in August 1993. More than 400 Imagineers worked on its design and construction. Tony Baxter led a core project team of nearly 100 Imagineers.
Several early concepts were considered for Indy including a walk-through adventure and a high-speed mine car adventure within a temple. To avoid a long queue, Imagineers even considered using Jungle Cruise launches to shuttle guests to the loading area. The team tested key show elements in a Burbank warehouse on a full-sized elevated track that resembled a freeway. This enabled the team to test set pieces, lighting, effects, transport clearances and motion profiles.
To create space for the 0.5-mile queue area and the 50,000-square-foot show building, an area of the former "Eeyore" parking lot was demolished, and the Monorail and Jungle Cruise attractions were rerouted. As I'm sure some of you know, an old Eeyore parking sign is hidden up in the rafters high above the projection room (in the queue). The sign pays homage to the Eeyore Parking Lot.

Happy 19th birthday Indy!
Have you been on this attraction? If so, what is your favorite part or scene?
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a magnificent Monday!
