For the wonderful CMs. How quickly do the rental ECVs go? I got my after surgery restrictions and I am going to need one. I am not supposed to stand or walk for more than 10 minutes in one hour. My dear sweet child doesn't want to push his mother around in a wheelchair. Geez after 3 days of labor, you think he would be willing to help his mother.

How about renting it from the place across the street from DLR that people speak of? Then you can have it the whole visit :) - misschurro  6362.1 #17 5:24PM
It's a lot cheaper to rent off site. We did this after my mom had her back surgery. They had it at the hotel when we got there too, so we didn't even have to wait in line! If that's something you're interested in, I can dig through my old posts to see if I can find the name of the company - SPandEvLover  4531.8 #29 5:30PM
Such a sweet, helpful mini - misschurro  6362.1 #17 5:32PM
If you don't mind. We are planning a day trip for 9-13. Then one again in October. I remember seeing a rental place near one of the off site hotels. Just don't know the name. - Lelundrial  656.3 #304 5:39PM
The place we went to was called Deckert's. I have nothing but good things to say about them! - SPandEvLover  4531.8 #29 7:35PM
Oh! AND you can take it everywhere. If you rent from Disney, you have to pay even more to take it to DTD - SPandEvLover  4531.8 #29 7:38PM
Thank you, yeah I saw that restriction on the website. - Lelundrial  656.3 #304 8:02PM
The rental place is at the Ramada across the street! - MomWithAJuiceBoxBuzz  1190.7 #145 7:36PM
I'm not a cm but I think it depends on how crowded it is. I noticed one day they were still giving ECVs at like 3:30 in the afternoon - missmimi90  2032.0 #76 5:22PM
We were planning for during the week. - Lelundrial  656.3 #304 5:40PM

I love this last part of your post. Totally made me giggle. I do know that if they run out they putt your name on a waiting list and when one is returned they'll call you. My Mom needed one for Mickey's Halloween Party and they were out. Fortunately a lot were being returned at that time so it took about an hour. - Cinderella_Schnooks  3370.7 #42 5:26PM
We just utilized this & walked right up to the register! Took no more than 5 minutes to pay & receive the chair! :) We got there about two hours after opening & there were still plenty available. - GrimGrinningAmanda  666.9 #302 5:37PM
Cool, we would most likely be there just before park opening. - Lelundrial  656.3 #304 5:45PM
