#FantasmicPremiumSeating review- I see many posts about Fantasmic premium seating so I thought I would post my review and tips. We have done the premium seating for Fantasmic many times. You can make reservations up to 30 days before the show and it's $60 per person. No AP discount. You need to pick up your tickets at City Hall on the day of the show. Check-in begins 1 hour before the first showing for BOTH shows. They set up the check-in stand on ROA about an hour before they begin check-in and people will start lining up then. For example, we always do the first showing, 9pm. Check-in begins at 8pm. They set up the stand for check-in about 6:45pm and that's when we stand in line. We are usually the first in line when we do it this way, which means we get to pick our seats first. We basically stand in line 1.5-2hrs before check-in, but we do get front row. They allow you to come back at 8:30 to be seated. We've done this about 6 times. The first time we did premium seating we got there at 8pm and there was already a huge line and our seat choice was limited. The desert trays are tasty and you get drinks, too. We don't get to enjoy our trays though until we get back to the hotel since we have to hold our kids on our lap. They also let you stay for the fireworks if you pick the fantasmic show time thats immediately before or after the fireworks show time.
On our last trip we decided that we wanted to try sitting on the ground to see the difference. The night following our premium view seating we got to the ROA at 6:45pm about the same time we line up for our premium view seating. Gma was in a wheelchair so we were the last sitting row on the ROA. The wait was a little easier because we could lay out a blanket and let our 2y/o play and not be in the way of foot traffic compared to having to find things for her to do while waiting to check-in for premium seating. The view was a little more personal. There was something about sitting on a blanket, cuddling with your kids and the characters waving right at you that made it special. Not better, just a different experience.
Now that we have compared these two options back to back, I think we will be sitting on the ground from now on and do premium when the kids are older and get their own seat. Let me know if I can answer any questions or clarify any info.

A personal favorite is the beautiful crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be compete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
