*** WINNER*** HENDIZL ENTERED BY MISSAMERICASINGS!! Congratulations! please DM me your info! :) RAK!! I am giving away a fisherman goofy in honor of upcoming Father's Day! To enter: 1) have DM enabled 2) US only 3) Say your favorite memory with your dad in the park OR the reason why your dad is special to you :) This RAK will end June 8 I'm the evening... Good luck!!

Please add me. My dad is special to me because even though we didn't make much when I was younger, he managed to find a way to take us to Disneyland every so often. He is the reason I love Disneyland. - SpiritOfAdventure  1044.8 #176 7:45PM
Please add me!! My favorite memory of my Daddy and I at the park would definitely be the sword in the stone show. When they were doing the little show with merlin and the sword in the stone, he was being a good daddy and waiting around while we went on all the fantasy land rides (he wasn't a big fan of going on them more than once a trip) and he would sit and watch the show until he saw a pattern. So he put me in the crowd across from him (he's a big guy and I was a little girl at that time) and sure enough, Merlin picked him to try and get the sword from the stone. He pulled and he pulled and couldn't get the sword out. Then Merlin comes across to me and asks me to show him how it's done. I got the sword out! We got medals and pictures with Merlin and it was an amazing memory with my Daddy that I always remember when I pass by. - jamielynn  163.3 #2519 10:48AM
this is an awesome story! - QueenMiranda  400.7 #562 1:12PM
I changed my mind, please add me for Mickeyat, I think even though her Daddy isn't with her anymore, that the fisherman Goofy would be a nice tribute to him, and a good way to hold on to his memory. - jamielynn  163.3 #2519 9:41PM
QueenMiranda thank you!! I was beyond giddy when his plan worked and we both got picked. Made for some awesome pictures and as I said, I think of him every time I pass the sword in the stone. - jamielynn  163.3 #2519 9:42PM
Add me for SOA pleeeease - my fave memory with my dad in the parks is when it was just the two of us and I took him on tot for his first time! He absolutely loved it and was awed by the whole thing! - HiddenMickeyFanatic  1247.8 #136 9:37PM
Sadly, the only memory of my dad or parents at Disneyland is when I was lost and crying in Tomorrowland. It's ok I plan on taking them as a surprise at the end of this year. - SpiritOfAdventure  1044.8 #176 8:56AM
Awwww SOA that's so cute your going to surprise your parents! Please add me for Spiritofadventure! My dad took us to WDW once a year when I was little, but sadly I don't remember much! - lohofosho  785.0 #235 12:09PM
Please add me for SOA too! My Dad is kind of a grump, but he always took great pictures of us when we went to Disneyland. Two years ago he came with us to experience Disneyland with his grand kids. He was actually pleasantly surprised with my expert use of Fastpasses and he was my official stroller pusher! - goofymom2boys  1502.2 #113 2:01PM
add me please. I have no memories of my dad at Disneyland, he only went with us once when I was still a baby. He passed away a few years ago, and when I was sorting through a box of old photos, I found a few pictures of him at Disneyland in 1957, some with attractions that no longer exist, but my favorite is of him climbing the treehouse on Tom Sawyer's Island. Even though he never really talked about Disneyland, these photos make me feel a little more connected to him. - brit_brit  308.3 #869 9:32AM
Please add me! I could go on & on about my dad, but I'll keep it relevant to the RAK: I'm too young to have fished in ROA, but my daddy took me fishing for my first time in the "not to be named" OTHER theme park during a trip to Disneyland in the 70's....which is kinda "GOOFY"!😜 Thanks for a fun Father's Day RAK!✨😘 - TinkerSchelle  1981.1 #82 9:57AM
Add me please. My dad is special to me because he is so loving he had a stroke a few years ago. Has not been the same since. But still a wonderful man - Disneyforlife  230.2 #1605 10:51AM
Please add me for TinkerSchelle! Growing up my Mom was both parents... She was the best "dad" I could have asked for. She was protective, loving and tried her best to make up for my absent father. My favorite memories with her are our road trips to Cali (&DL) in the summers growing up. Thanks for doing this RAK, you make me proud kiddo! πŸ’– - DiamondInTheRough  349.6 #675 11:01AM
Please add me for jamielynn! You guys are making me cry with all your great daddy stories! I will add mine a little later. Thank you! Great RAK! - MeridaFan  4243.7 #34 2:06PM
Oh thank you so much!! You're so sweet. I hope you aren't offended, but I decided to change my add me to add mickeyat. I feel it would be a nice tribute to her daddy. - jamielynn  163.3 #2519 9:43PM
Please add me. My favorite memory of my dad has to be how he would act like a kid with us at the park and run to rides as well as do everything he could to make it a amazing experience. Thank you. - mpgonzales1991  192.0 #2089 2:59PM
πŸ‘ŠBump! - DiamondInTheRough  349.6 #675 11:12AM
Please add me for whoever replies to this first πŸ˜„ my favorite memory is my dad reciting the Matterhorn safety speech in Spanish. Or at least trying to hahaha sounds like a bunch of gibberish except for the 'Por Favor' at the end - FoolishMortal138  405.3 #554 11:33AM
βœ‹Raises hand thank you :) - Hendizl  2821.9 #46 11:42AM
Yay! Good Luck!! - FoolishMortal138  405.3 #554 3:27PM
Please add me my favorite memory with my dad is when he use to take us fishing when we were young. He would always buy us a fishing rod for Christmas or bday and when we went fishing if we needed a new one. It's some of my best childhood memory thank you - Hendizl  2821.9 #46 11:42AM
Please add me for Hendizl. My favorite childhood memory with my Dad is that we always had to visit Lincoln first before he let us choose what to do the rest of the day! The recent one is when I took my Dad to DCA for his 1st time last year :) Thanks. - MissAmericaSings  405.9 #553 1:29PM
Thank youmissnamericasings :) - Hendizl  2821.9 #46 1:00PM
Thanks for the RAK! Please add me for SpiritOfAdventure. I only went to the parks once when I was a little girl (4) but I had a great time and still remember bits of it - the horse-drawn carriage going by, the fluppy dog my dad bought me as a souvenir (fluppy dogs! big in the early 80s), the smell of popcorn and all the lights. - QueenMiranda  400.7 #562 1:30PM
Thanks QM. You're awesome. Do you have a picture of this "fluppy dog"? - SpiritOfAdventure  1044.8 #176 1:41PM
no, you're awesome! i can take a pic, i just went and retrieved it from my closet. ha. although i don't know that anyone wants to see my scruffy old toys. someone posted a pic recently and it brought back fond memories. - QueenMiranda  400.7 #562 10:16PM
Only 5 days left!! - ToInfinityAndBeyond1997  210.5 #1870 8:58PM
Best memory of my Dad at Disneyland....... My mom asked my dad to punishe me for something is I did wrong when I was 5. Well, when my mom left for work my punishment was my dad taking me to Dland for the day! Best punishment ever. Although he isn't with us anymore, I ride the monorail in everytime because that's the memory I have! - jobojoko  13.2 #9254 10:25PM
Aww. What a nice memory. - MeridaFan  4243.7 #34 10:57PM
Please add me!! My dad was never around so my favorite memory involves my grampa!! (Pretty much my dad! Lol) My grampa loved going to Disneyland with us! He loved getting on Indy (which I thought was crazy for an 80-something year old man!! Haha) I was never tall enough to ride with him, but I remember waiting at the exit sooo excited to hear him tell me about every part of the ride!! Another memory is in the form of a picture of me, my grampa, and goofy! It's a picture that means the world to me!! - GitsieMouse  267.2 #1190 12:52AM
Please add me for mpgonzales1991. My favorite memory of my Dad was him teaching me how to pitch softball. I played soccer, volleyball, basketball too and he never missed a game. - Cinderella_Schnooks  3370.7 #42 1:07AM
Add me plz my favorite memory of my dad was he loved fishing and he was great at it he always took us with him taught us how bought us our own poles and tackle boxes and bait it was so much fun dad always took us to DL lots of memories there! But the 1 ill cherish 4ever is the last few moths of his life he was very sick and shoulda been in the hospital but he refused so he can walk his baby girl down the isle he passed away 2 months after he did that. He hung on for me and I'll forever be grateful for that memory - mickeyat78  1981.6 #81 2:46AM
this totally made me well up. i'm so glad he was able to hold on for your special day. - QueenMiranda  400.7 #562 1:08PM
Please add me. My father was a complicated man but its something I found out later on that made me realize his love for me. Growing up, my father was a strict parent that was very hands off. So, finding out that when I was young, he took me to see Pocahontas in theaters which brought tears to my eyes. It may seem like such a small thing but the fact that he put me first and sat through essentially a Disney princess movie meant a lot to me. - missmimi90  2032.0 #76 5:10AM
Oh my, pass the tissues. That is lovely. - Cinderella_Schnooks  3370.7 #42 5:26AM
Please add me for mickeyat... I also have many fond memories of going fishing with my dad (he passed away 5 years ago)... my first DL memory is of Daddy holding me (I was probably about 2) and he was trying to hand me off to Mickey and I was freaked out and would not let go of his neck! Thank you! - Duchess73  340.9 #702 10:12PM
It ends tonight!!! - ToInfinityAndBeyond1997  210.5 #1870 3:17PM
Congrats Heindizl!!!!! - DiamondInTheRough  349.6 #675 9:17AM
