Look what I found in the bathroom next to City Hall? Anyone else see this? :)

conversation with line folks: where are you from? I am from Anaheim. Oh do you go to dl often? Why yes, at least twice a week. (their jaw drops) does it get boring? Nope been doing this for 20 years now. (I get the crazy look). My answer: Never can get enough magic. - Plumiegirl  10135.3 #8 11:01PM
It's a cute idea, but this would bug me! πŸ˜„ - Sweet_Irish_Cream  4409.0 #32 7:35PM
LOL me too for some bizarre reason. I talk to others when I'm in the mood but a sign encouraging me too makes me clam up. LOL - Cinderella_Schnooks  3370.7 #42 7:42PM
No, no. For me, our weeks are so busy and it's work talk, or bills/money, family issues and more...when we are at the parks, it's time were my husband and I can feel like we are on vacation from it all and just enjoy our time together. Most of the time, I don't want to talk to strangers in line, I want to talk with my husband. 😊 - Sweet_Irish_Cream  4409.0 #32 7:45PM
Yeah it bugs me at times ok all the times people i dont know try to talk to me in line. My face usually makes them not talk to mr but then theres those persistent ones oyyyyyy - ScarfGirl  644.8 #312 8:03PM
Exactly Sic! - Cinderella_Schnooks  3370.7 #42 8:11PM
Totally agree with you SIC! - kayceeb  167.3 #2450 8:13PM
Some people enjoy it. People just need to be good at reading the crowd for who looks open to it, and who is otherwise engaged. 😊 - Sweet_Irish_Cream  4409.0 #32 8:43PM
scribble scribble scribble...only talk to Mr. SIC in line and ask his favorit ride. Ignore glaring wife:) lol - Westcoast  174.6 #2324 8:43PM
Haha. πŸ˜‰ - Sweet_Irish_Cream  4409.0 #32 8:51PM
Totally agreed!! - CuriousAsAlice7  165.2 #2493 9:53AM
I will probably get pummelled for this but...this is kind of contradictory ...constantly seeing MWers say...oh if you see us say Hi. We are a super friendly bunch of people but then when someone leaves an encouraging post it on the bathroom wall and lots of you are saying basically "No don't talk to me. It annoys me." I am a shy person at first and am not one to usually strike up a conversation and I get the whole spending time with your loved ones and family and escape time so I want to apologize to those that I have said Hi to when I was brave enough to do so in the Parks. - yellowtonka  244.7 #1419 10:02AM
HA cute. Don't be silly. One never has to apologize for sayin Hi. I get lost all the time but here is what I found. If a couple happens to be standing close talking to themselves and perhaps lost in one another for that time I am fairly certain one won't be stopping for a chat after that ....but one might. Now if one happens to see folks laughing and being loud and mostly looking down at their electronic devices one will most likely say Hi and help them block the path.... but one might not. As far as the note goes IM(clearly not so humble)O hehe it was probably written to someones self and their day might not get better if they see it here.... but it might. As for someone who is shy I would highly recommend going to one of these meet ups we read about all the time. Personally I mostly can't stand people but it has worked for me and while that doesn't mean it will work for anyone else.....It might. - GrumpyPirateDad  1936.2 #86 10:32AM
I totally agree with you. Everyone is all "say hi if you see us" yet you don't want to be bothered while your in the parks. Probably shouldn't "ask" to be talked to the ! - Disneymomab  34.0 #5630 10:38AM
I have been to 3 non park meetups. And have made friends from them.I am still a quiet person even after meeting people. I just happened to recognize someone in the Parks from here and said Hi and now feel bad because I hope I didn't impose on their time. So that is what I am apologizing for. - yellowtonka  244.7 #1419 10:46AM
From just reading through the other comments it looks like they are talking about random strangers coming up and striking up a conversation. I wouldn't count other MW users as random strangers... - NotSoDapperDan  323.9 #781 11:04AM
I would never, ever post a "if you see us say Hi" or participate in that. So no I am not contradicting anything. - Lelundrial  656.4 #305 11:21AM
Aren't we all random strangers until we actually meet? - yellowtonka  244.7 #1419 11:22AM
You should see the notes that I leave in the bathroom. Much different than this - Dave  13499.2 #2 10:36AM
AHhahahahaha......ewww - GrumpyPirateDad  1936.2 #86 10:37AM
I join conversations to those around me. I guess it's hard for me not to easedrop when I am within earshot - E-Ticket  1466.9 #115 7:21AM
I find it difficult to talk to people in a restroom line. Because I am usually doing a strange dance. Maybe I will try it on the way out - Tealtownfan  1015.6 #184 7:44AM
Lol! I did not realize we were talking about the restroom line! - AZDisney  610.4 #334 8:00AM
That's where the note is - Tealtownfan  1015.6 #184 8:07AM
Well, I don't like to talk to people thereπŸ˜› - AZDisney  610.4 #334 11:20AM
I like talking to people in line. Especially when I see they are playing on their phone and I see MW! I ask "are you on mouse wait?" They say yes, but no one I have talked to yet is in the lounge πŸ˜” they are only checking wait times. Which I know really is the point, but would be cool to meet a random mw'r in line. - PixiePirateMaid  345.5 #690 9:45AM
Fun.! So did you? - carminaire  802.9 #230 7:37PM
That is kinda funny. I like when other guests strike up conversations :) - misschurro  6362.4 #17 7:41PM
I do too! Especially when u can tell they are from out of the country (last time we met some awesome folks from Somalia)-random! !) - missariel33  2115.5 #72 7:51PM
And then we all rode TOT together! - missariel33  2115.5 #72 7:53PM
I like talking to other peeps in line too. - LaPearleNoir  1789.7 #94 8:38PM
We always start chatting with the people in line with us (I have very social kids). When we were at the Long Lost Friends event, we ran into two young girls we met while waiting in line for the Princess with their Princes. It was fun to see them again...they recognized my son. - goofymom2boys  1502.2 #113 7:52PM
If someone is chatting about something that I know or interested in I will usually jump in but not all the time. Sometimes they jump in on my conversations. It doesn't bug me tho. - TikiJOSEsWingman  332.4 #733 9:36PM
maybe this is a cheat sheet for a new CM???? - secretagentangel  4658.8 #28 11:48PM
That's what I had thought - misschurro  6362.4 #17 7:54AM
Be warned I am so nosey I talk to just about anyone! Like itor not! - AZDisney  610.4 #334 7:10AM
Me too! - missariel33  2115.5 #72 8:10AM
No I will not do that. . - Lelundrial  656.4 #305 7:36AM
It's very interesting to meet new people. Plus it makes the wait less awful when u run in to some great people - TheBearandtheBow  72.4 #4108 8:56AM
The intentions are good. But Disneyland =/= Pinterest. Go "post" elsewhere! - Nyghtngale  572.3 #355 9:00AM
My husband and I love having conversations while in amusement parks.Wither it is learning something new about the park or helping some else discover something fun. We have made some great friends while standing in line for a ride. Sharing the fun and enthusiasm makes for a more entertaining day for everybody. - Bibba  463.0 #470 11:28AM
