Question... Your 1st Disneyland trip, how old were you?

43 in 2002 We moved to ca in 2000. I cried every Disney visit since. I'm getter better now. The first 5 years something would always make me cry. I balled my eyes out at my 1st parade - Marciamcmouse  44.5 #5007 4:42PM
20 years old year 2000. I had entered in every competition that you could win a trip to Disneyland since I was about 10. I never won but had managed to save up enough money by the time I was 20. - aussiekate  165.8 #2482 4:00AM
Aw so cute. - dumbbunny  627.2 #324 5:24AM
43yo. 12 years ago. Glad to say I've been at least once a year since then. Once to WDW. Next trip in 20 days. - garrlusdland  67.6 #4231 5:54PM
Not counting in my Mom's tummy, I was about 6 months old & have been going ever since! - ShariRenee  8577.6 #9 6:07PM
I was 29 and married just six months. We were in CA for the funeral of my husband's Grandmother. One of my husbands great aunts, learned I had never been to DL - so after the funeral she made hotel reservations for us. So, in the style of the commercial, my husband says, "Todd and Stephanie, you just burried your Grandmother, what are you going to do now?" "We're going to Disneyland!" It was December 23rd, everything was beautiful and festive! It was a great way to finish an otherwise sad occasion. - DreadPiratesRogers  846.9 #219 6:14PM
Turning a somber day into a very special one, I like that. - dumbbunny  627.2 #324 3:40AM
In 2009 at the young age of 38. We've gone several times a year since them and I cry at every visit too. As a matter of fact I'm crying right now thinking of our next visit in 20 days.. Sniff sniff.... - Donna1988  214.3 #1814 7:54PM
I was 3, so 1989? They had a Mardi Gras style parade & Ariel threw me beads from the float. I still get butterflies in my stomach when I think of that moment - DanilovesDisney  12.1 #9786 9:15PM
I was born 8-8-82 and my first visit was 9-18-82 - Singh2011  183.4 #2209 9:55PM
Wow... Newborn. - dumbbunny  627.2 #324 10:04PM
I was 4. I have a picture of me sitting on my dads lap and merry weather put her wand on my head. It was the trip where my parents were trying to reconcile, but they divorced shortly after. It was a great day. - lovetheland7  177.9 #2279 9:55PM
😍😍😍how cute! - Cinderella_Schnooks  3370.7 #42 9:59PM

When I was about 3. I remember a few things. Random things about the monorail cafe, 2 story shops at Disneyland hotel, how huge I thought the Disneyland Hotel pool was, how I was scared to cross the little gap to get on the monorail and of course the skyway. I have been going ever since. - DisneyBrideΒ°OΒ°  448.9 #490 6:40AM
I was 5 and it was perfect because I was old enough to be able to stay in the parks all day and not be cranky and was tall enough to ride all of the rides!!! - ToInfinityAndBeyond1997  210.5 #1870 12:18PM
Less than 1 year old, my mom had to carry me. Years later I asked her why she brought me (from Seattle) if I was too young to remember it or do anything. She said, "I don't know, I guess I just really wanted to go!" - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  1397.0 #3 12:39PM
I think I was 6. We went to the park only once a year, and I still felt it was so magical that I needed to get an AP as an adult. We've taken our kids in their first 4 years of life more times than I went in my entire childhood! - Diz_Mel  96.0 #3652 3:53PM
2 years old in 1963 since I was still free. My parents bought our home in Anaheim in 1959 and our family went every Christmas until I bought my first AP in 1993 for my son and I. Been going every week for last 20 years. - Plumiegirl  10135.2 #8 4:01PM
