Good Morning. My baby boy just turned two months and I was wondering when is a good time to take him to the parks? Is two months to young? Thanks :)

He is so cute! And no it's not too early! We had out daughter there at 6 weeks! The Baby Care Center was a great place to rest too! Go and enjoy the day just watch his needs and yours (drink lots of water) and it will be a great day! - waltfan  191.4 #1729 7:31AM
Where is the baby care center at? - patriciajz  329.0 #477 7:36AM
In DL, at the end of Main Street, on the right, just before you get to Plaza Inn, and near the CornDog truck. In DCA, next to Ghirardelli. Enjoy! - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1798.9 #42 7:40AM
Those "mommas" in the Baby Care Center will take good care of you! - waltfan  191.4 #1729 10:31AM
If you take him at this age the trip will be more for you than him, but who cares? You will have fun, and you will have cute pics of your son to look at as he grows up. I don't know much about age and health safety, so maybe ask your doctor to make sure it is healthy to bring him at two months. - madsdad  1124.9 #73 11:49AM
I agree 100%. I'm not a fan of bringing newborns to someplace as busy as DL, but a few months old, (and if you feel the need to confirm with your Pediatrician, and you're given the ok), then go for it! - DisneyFanZoe  1096.7 #75 12:01PM
He's so adorable! - _BELLE_  217.6 #1389 7:28AM
Thanks :) - patriciajz  329.0 #477 7:35AM
I waited until he was 1 and half and totally wish I didn't wait so long. He will get fascinated with everything. Go! You'll enjoy the experience - MarshaMouse  2864.5 #15 7:38AM
Oh my! What an adorable baby you have! Hey lil Space Ranger :) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1798.9 #42 7:38AM

I know a couple of CMs who have taken their little ones at 3 weeks. I'm hoping to take my little one when she's 6-7 weeks! - IDVandalSkipperCM  1296.5 #63 8:08AM
He is cute! Not too early, imho. Just take it easy and take advantage of the Baby Care Center. Have fun! - SneakyStella  292.9 #656 8:27AM
I first took my son when he was 3 months old. I'm sure I would have taken him earlier if it wasn't a 7 hour drive to get there. - SneakyStella  292.9 #656 8:28AM
Whatever you feel most comfortable with is the right time. If you want to take him I say go for it but if you're uncomfortable with the idea I would wait. - aidensmama  336.5 #445 8:32AM
He is adorable, by the way. :) - aidensmama  336.5 #445 8:33AM
I don't think it is to young. Enjoy and take lots of pictures. Very handsome lad - Tealtownfan  693.1 #144 8:38AM

anytime, any age ,heck we were taking our minis since they were -36 wks and counting, remember parent swap is your new best friend if you have more adults in your party and you want to enjoy any attraction your minins cannot ride on. - pikarich  611.5 #178 10:13AM
Heck, we have home video of my parents taking me when I was 4 weeks old (don't ask why, I still don't know) and my face was like O_O o.0 :O so I seemed to enjoy it well enough... It's never too early! - JRDrummer_CM  792.5 #119 10:32AM
He is adorable! :-) - disneymomma1  320.5 #520 10:37AM
I suggest taking him when he's two years old. At that age he can walk and talk and interact with the characters, and he has the ability to recognize and remember where he is and what he's seen. We took my niece for her first trip on her second birthday, she had seen Sleeping Beauty's castle in videos before, and when we stepped onto Main St. and she caught sight of the castle for the first time...her face lit up like I've never seen. It was a wonderful moment. Then she yelled out, "Mickey's castle!" 😄 - NotNKansasAnymor  174.4 #1934 11:27AM
Agreed. 2 is perfect. I keep trying to take my youngest and she just wants to run off and get lost in the crowds, doesn't really like the rides and just doesn't really "get" it yet. Took my oldest at 2 and she was in heaven!! - MissMolly  697.1 #141 11:59AM
My mini was 2 when he first went as well. He didn't really even remember much from going at that age but he definitely enjoyed it at the time. - aidensmama  336.5 #445 12:04PM
True every kid is different, some will remember, others won't. A couple of months after my niece's first trip, her parents were dropping a friend off at the airport and she saw banners advertising Mickey as the Grand Marshall of that years Rose Parade...she thought they were at the parking structure and on their way to "Mickey's castle" again. She was two! Lol, love that kid. - NotNKansasAnymor  174.4 #1934 12:16PM
