You scared too many children? 😂😂😂 - PrincessKristin 774.5 #126 8:56PM
Yes Kristen, I forgot to wear a T-shirt under the vest 😂😂 - Villescas8(V8) 589.1 #185 9:00PM
I've noticed that these things tend to be more of an issue when it's busy. More people, fewer "regulars", more unpredictability. - JustCantWait

What if you had studs forming Mickeys? A Mickey studded vest and Mickey studded dog collar. Ok, a bit much. - Hagrid

I don't know if that is it, they are cracking down on all kinds of studded accessories and starting to check belts too, there was a post on it last week if you want to find it. Disneyland has been changing a lot of policies, all in the name of safety so I hope you don't take that personally. They are not allowing any children to enter now without a chaperone of at least 14 years of age. Plus having everyone who is there have their photo on file somehow. Have a great day otherwise!:) - secretagentangel

I was just shocked. I do understand the safety part of it also. Was just taken back for a second when I was talked to. - MetalMermaid 135.9 #2505 5:58PM
Yes, I could see that, I would be shocked too but since I read it last week I have been telling my brother we might get searched more thoroughly so he is ready for it. We have to go to the VA in LA a lot and they really put you through searches and they just started allowing smartphones. You can't wear anything there studded either. I think with the way the world is changing we will see this more and more. Hope it did not hurt your day!!:) - secretagentangel 669.6 #154 6:05PM
Yes, they gave me two options: locker, car... I went with the locker. - MetalMermaid 135.9 #2505 12:37AM
I've worn my metal spiked bracelet and even showed it when getting my hand stamped. But maybe they didn't say anything cause its just a bracelet - Philliprocks

How long ago was that? I once saw a girl with spiked shoes inside the park but I think they've recently changed their policy. - aidensmama 336.5 #445 9:02PM
A while back i saw a guy & his mohawk was too high and they wouldn't even let him in the park. - missariel33

We have a MWer that has an awesome and huge Mohawk - Villescas8(V8) 589.1 #185 9:20PM
Aww poor kid. I'd buy him a churro once her got it. - MetalMermaid 135.9 #2505 12:39AM
Yeah, when we were there a couple weeks ago, a CM told us that spikes were not being allowed. We asked if it was all spikes or just specific sizes...she said it was at the CM's discretion. - 2BeignetOrNot2Beignet

I was actually talked to twice. My spikes must have been a bit to dangerous for the resort. - MetalMermaid 135.9 #2505 12:42AM
Last night I saw a female walk into DCA with military boots (not actual ones, just the style) and they had studded spikes all around them. I guess the CMs failed to check her at security but 2 CMs (at the front as guests enter the park) noticed but were too lazy to stop her due to the large influx of people. It happens. - Jacqueline
