My family and I will be at DLR next week. I was wondering if any one had suggestions for tackling Radiator Springs Racers. I know this ride is very popular so I was wondering if it is better to run there first thing when the park opens or head there first for a fast pass and go some where else? Thanks.

Send one person with all your tickets/APs to the fastpass line to get fast passes while the rest get into line for the attraction. Bam, you now have fast passes and a short wait time. - CM_Shadowgamer  2515.9 #56 9:57PM
Just make sure all the tickets are scanned at the gate. You can't get a FP if anyone has not entered DCA. - Coaster  19178.6 #1 2:32PM

I learned Coasters tip the hard way!! - jjdq  338.0 #711 2:45PM
Fast pass first! - PrincessGrace  31.1 #5878 9:49PM
I'm curious about this too! We were thinking about just running there first thing in the am an making it the first ride of the day.... - Kay0814  5.0 #18910 9:55PM
If you have early entry available with your passes I would suggest getting in early and heading straight for RSR. We had Saturday early entry last week and nearly walked straight on. Then head back to the fast pass line a couple hours later (we hit the line around 9:30) and got a fast pass with a return time of around 3:00pm. I'm sure it's a little different for everyone, but that is how we worked it and we were super happy! - evilqueensmistress  285.1 #1013 9:58PM
Depends on how old everyone is. If everyone can ride alone then single rider it later and enjoy the rest of the park. If not grab a fast pass and enjoy the rest of the park. - MeridasHair  346.5 #687 9:58PM
You've got to get there early for the fast pass. They will be gone one hour after the park opens. The park gates open 30 minutes before rope drop and you can get in line for fp then. Are you staying at the resort? - Cinderella_Schnooks  3370.7 #42 10:02PM
Make sure all of your tickets/people are scanned at the gate! (I learned the hard way when I thought I'd let my family sleep in, and run to the FP line early. I was turned away.) lesson learned!!:-) - DLandFanatic  8.6 #12146 10:12PM
We go for early entry and ride first thing and get our ride in for the day. - kimberross  505.2 #421 10:20PM
Thanks for the help. We are not staying on site, so we do not get early entry into DCA. We will just plan to hit Carsland as soon as we can. Any other suggestions? - jazsdad  14.9 #8650 1:52PM
If you can't do what shadowgamer said (let's say the standby wait time is really long when you get in) then just grab some FP's and come back later. Either that or you could have one person take all tickets/APs to get fastpasses while the rest of your party gets in line for /another/ popular attraction. Kinda like a modified version of shadowgamer's plan. :P - JRDrummer_CM  875.4 #211 1:59PM
The single rider line is always great, too, but you might not get to all sit together. My boyfriend and I only waited about 25 minutes on Saturday while the regular line was 90 minutes! And we actually ended up in two cars racing each other so that was fun (my car won!) - blackcat  6.1 #15817 2:56PM
