Any recommendations? The fam and I are planning on FINALLY catching world or color tomorrow. I am planning on getting there first thing in the AM to fastpass, but I know there are dinner packages that offer access to the viewing area. Anyone know which is best or worth it? And is there a separate viewing area for those packages or do you just get a regular fastpass? TY in advance:)

It's basically the same viewing area. The cost of the dinner package depends on whether you choose a restaurant or a picnic-style meal. I would suggest you get your WOC fastpass in the morning and eat where you want. - duckymomo  23.9 #4754 9:07PM
They stick you in whatever area is available, it's not always the "best"seating. Don't sit in the very front unless you wish to get wet, try to secure a good spot early on (as early as they will let you line up) so you can see everything, remember everyone has to stand, so try to avoid standing behind tall people. - jamielynn  138.6 #2464 9:08PM
How early is the typical time before lining up? - FrankenweenieVelinee  259.8 #908 9:28PM
There is no seating, only standing. I work WoC a lot, and I always recommend getting there no later than 45 minutes before show time. Your best views are actually up near the front, but you may get a little wet. Totally worth it though. We don't let anyone line up more than 90 minutes prior to show time, then we open the viewing area about an hour prior to show time. - dlmickeymouseCM  2350.4 #27 11:03PM
Do the dinner package it's so worth it - greenalien39  319.6 #522 9:20PM
If one of the restaurants offering a dinner package is something that interests you, go for it. If you can live without trying one of these on this trip, get a regular FP and eat somewhere else. Hope you enjoy the show!! - PiecesOf8  373.1 #368 9:26PM
Thank you all for the advice!! - Chavez  4.3 #12180 9:40PM
They tell you to show up an hour or so beforehand I believe, but people line up to get in before that. We've done both the picnic package and just the fastpass route, and both times were in the same spot. The picnics are good but a little on the pricey side, so if you're going to be there early, getting a fastpass isn't a bad way to go! :) - LoveDland  300.7 #608 9:42PM
Great, TY!! - Chavez  4.3 #12180 10:11PM
I personally really enjoy the dining package at Wine Country Trattoria (sp) its about $40 a person and the view is pretty good, then you get a good meal and dont have to worry to much about having to stand in line to get the fast passes :D - tiggertwin  317.8 #530 10:31PM
Yes, but on busy nights you still have to get there early because the reserved areas will fill up and they get very crowded. - dlmickeymouseCM  2350.4 #27 11:01PM
Just get FP's early in the morning. The picnic style packages just give you FP's, NOT a reserved section. Wine Country Tratoria and Carthay Circle Restaurant have their own ways of distributing FP's, but it'll cost ya. Not worth it IMO, and I've seen WoC from every spot in the viewing area. - dlmickeymouseCM  2350.4 #27 11:00PM
