Throwback Thursday. Vintage from 1960. This is from my dad's stuff. Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship in Fantasyland. The only place to get your tuna burger or hot tuna pie in the park! Yum! The ship was in Disneyland until 1982. Dumbo was moved to about this spot as part of Fantasyland remodel.
Great picture! Some trivia: the plan in the 80's was to move the ship and Skull Rock over to the Small World are, but the hull had water damage so it was dismantled. Some pieces of the ship can be found in Peter Pan's Flight. - Gia

A great piece of DL history! A Disneyland landmark from 1955 until 1982, although the name changed to Captain Hook’s Galley when Chicken of the Sea dropped their sponsorship in 1969. Thanks for sharing the amazing photo! - Duchess_SMK

I can vaguely remember eating there. I just had this conversation with my hubs. I thought it was a tuna sandwich not a burger. I would have been just 4 or 5 yr old, 1969 or 70. - Sugarbuzz
