This MouseWait Community means so much to me. On the “surface”, it's a great app, one of the best features is the Wait Time feature which has helped hundreds of thousands of Disney lovers with a better quality visit. Underneath it is a diverse “community” of Disney lovers. Friends have been made for life here. Most of us have a story of how MW has made a positive difference in our life. In order to make the app stronger Wait Time entry by users is mandatory, as inaccurate or no wait times means loss of users. That being said, as much as we would all like to, not every MWer can be at the parks to help out with entering wait times (or even if you go to the park a lot, for some due to signal strength it’s impossible to update times). The link between the “surface” and the “community” is the Lounge. Lately in the Lounge there seems to be many direct and passive aggressive posts and comments about high scoring fellow MWer's. Why all the negativity? Why slam people for doing what Admin asks for? Why be upset with the user for the points they earn updating wait times? Wait time entry=Accurate App=More Users=a positively evolving MouseWait for you. I would hate for MWer's to stop updating Wait Times to avoid being harassed about it. So please, let's either encourage wait time entry or don't comment negatively about it, it's pretty simple. Have a great day!
