I have a question for everyone.. We will be at Disneyland at the beginning of May.. My son will be almost 4 and is tall enough to ride Space Mountain... He is a thrill seeker!! Good idea or bad idea???

Try it. If he's a thrill seeker he will love it. - DisneyGrandma  337.8 #440 10:03AM
My nephew rode it right when he turned three. He's tall for his age. He LOVED it! - JediKitty  290.8 #665 10:04AM
most mini's love it ,be glad its the normal space mountain almost all the mini's are terrified of ghost galaxy micheal told idvandal that too - pikarich  605.2 #181 10:26AM
If he has been on other roller coasters and loved them then he should love space mountain. My daughter loves it at 4. - kimberross  216.1 #1399 11:09AM
My daughter is thrill seeker, too. She starting riding when she was four. She loved the ride not the dark so we gave a glow stick or light up pin. Made all the difference. - PrincessAuroraMomma  392.9 #340 4:50PM
Love the idea... Thank you - cheshirecat33  6.5 #8617 7:14PM
I see no problem whatsoever taking him on Space Mountain! Now, Dumbo... That's another story. 😂😂 - MyPark  943.8 #91 10:04AM

My 3 year old went several times last month, try it once & see how it goes. - UTDISNEYFAMILY  178.9 #1877 10:25AM
Depends on the child.. but if he is a thrill seeker as you stated, I think it's a good idea! What's the worst that could happen? ;) - DaisyDork  170.0 #2006 10:27AM
I say yes! if he doesn't like it this time around, maybe he will like it next time. - pinkmonkeys  321.4 #515 11:00AM
Thanks everyone for your input!!! Now if may would just get here!!!! - cheshirecat33  6.5 #8617 2:25PM
My twins are 4 1/2 and have been riding it since they were 3 1/2. One recently started hating it(she is afraid of the noise)...but the other loves it. - staceeyl  237.2 #1140 3:03PM
My nephews loved it and went on it the minute they could. - MrsSchnooks  572.2 #193 4:54PM
If he's big enough and brave enough, go for it! Our girl rode things at a young age, since she's so tall. She rode Matterhorn at 3! Granted, that was before they changed it... - ThatKimberly  334.5 #451 5:06PM
My little guy is an adventurer. He rode Space at age 3. He loved it! But I did build him up to it- I got him used to some attractions that were not as intense first. If he gets scared he might refuse to go on anything. Be honest and tell him what it's like. If he's ready, go for it! - MoonWillow  367.6 #377 7:21PM
All kids are different. My daughter was Miss Brave for a bit and went on all the big rides and loved them (so she says) but now won't ride any but splash. I say explain how the ride is and what to expect and let him decide if he wants to. - Nicole  380.2 #356 7:33PM
Great idea! But tell him all about it and see his reaction then decide. - ima-pirateswife  432.3 #289 7:34PM
