Learned something new today at Big Thunder Ranch. The area that is fenced off in the petting area (bottom pic) is considered the animals "break room". They are free to roam in and out of that area as they please and is used when they don't want to be very social with guests. The sheep (Bolt and Thunder in the top pic) are not very social and spend most of their time in the break area. However, Thunder has bonded with Clarabelle (the cow) as they were quarantined together when they first got to DL. Always a fun area to visit.
