Has anyone here done the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for their little ones?
We've done it quite a few times, and it's a blast for princesses. We always did the whole package so they assign mads a fairy godmother to take her "Shopping" for dress and accesories before the makeover, and then a cool photo session with a ball cariage and stuff. - madsdad

Try getting face paint off!! That is more horrible than than the gel and glitter. You almost need sand paper. - PrincessAuroraMomma 393.1 #340 5:29PM
I think the Bibbdi Bobbidi Boobtique is really cute. Gotta do it at least once with your princess(es). 😊😊 - DisneyFanZoe

I was trying to type Bootique, but then I thought that was wrong and it looks like I ended up with a mixture. I suppose I should change it. 😂😂 - DisneyFanZoe 1096.7 #75 10:10PM
Wow that's a different place then I've heard of - Tinkerbellmom4 296.1 #633 10:22PM
Do they still use lots of glitter here? - Sharkgrrl19 202.9 #1586 11:25PM
We did it last year for my daughter's birthday. She loved the glitter and treatment. Her hair looked so cute in the bun they did and the make up was nicely done(not too much). She also loved that she got to keep the make up and nail polish. We also loved how they don't let them see themselves until the end. - CherryTreeLane

Oh how fun. Can't wait to see the pictures. - LaPearleNoir 573.6 #192 7:31PM
Oh post pics!! I want to surprise my little girl... We will be heading down Sunday! I'm just hoping that they have size 14-16 dresses. She is 9 but is really tall.. She wears a woman's 7 shoe. - 2BeignetOrNot2Beignet 253.3 #981 9:00PM
Looks like you guys had a blast this morning. - Mickey_Badge 233.6 #1191 2:00PM
We did it a couple of weeks ago but went with the tutu and t-shirt package (daughter gets itchy in the dresses). It was cute, she had fun, etc. I don't know if she would be interested in doing it again only because she has crazy curly hair and it hurt her a bit. - WifeofaCM

Yeah, mine has a super sensitive head...don't think she'd go for that intensely slicked back bun. Tutu and tshirts package sounds good :) - MissMolly 697.1 #141 5:39PM
How much does it cost? I would love to do this for my daughter. - MonLuvsDisney
157.5 #2183 4:55PM
It's like $70 for the just makeover, and $200 for the full package one. I'm guestimating on the prices but it's in that ballpark. That's before an AP discount. - madsdad 1124.9 #73 5:05PM
That $200 sounds right. If you have an AP, you do get that discounted. I also made sure that the costume she got (Ariel), she wore for Halloween later that year. - meridafan 1036.1 #83 5:54PM
Umm..silly question, but can adult princesses have their hair done by a Fairy Godmother? ☺ - PrincessLadybug
202.2 #1596 5:07PM
Yeah, no joke, they wouldn't even let Fredo sit in the chair for a funny pic we were going to try and do last summer. - madsdad 1124.9 #73 5:18PM
I don't think you want the glitter bun 😂 - MissMolly 697.1 #141 5:45PM
You are correct, Mrs. SG. (Do you ever get tired of hearing that? 😂). It's only for young girls. - meridafan 1036.1 #83 5:56PM
My parents paid for the whole package for my daughters 7 birthday. She loved the special treatment and the photo session. But by the end of the night her head was hurting from the hair. Other than that she loved it. - PrincessAuroraMomma

We did the whole castle package last summer for our little girl. It includes the gown and accessories, plus all the wonderful photos they take during the process, as well as ones they take in the princess coach afterwards. She loved it! She looked beautiful, she felt like a princess, and we even had lunch right after over in Ariel's Grotto so she could hang with more princesses. We are going to do it again during Spring Break, but I may skip that fake hair, too. It was nice, but it sure did take the woman forever to get it teased out before she ever put it on her head! She was Ariel, so maybe it would be different with a different princess, but I think we'd be happier if they just did her own hair nicely and add the tiara. - meridafan

Aww! We're having lunch at Ariel's Grotto after too! - RCmom 2590.3 #20 6:21PM

Did the age limit change for the makeover? I had mine done and I'm over 12. I just had my hair put in a bun with the fake hair braids and tiara. I skipped makeup. - KennedyJane

My daughter and son had makeovers last year. My son had a crown painted on his head and my girl had the full treatment. I'm in love with the smell of the hairspray! We can't wait to do it again! - kueenofhearts

We have done it. The girls like the backpack with their makeup, 2 nail polishes, comb and other goodies. We also got the package with a t shirt and a tutu. The girls love it. - MeridasHair

We did I this last time. Best thing we could have done. We bought a dress and shoes the night before and just did hair makeup and nails. Saves a little money i would totally do this again for my daughter. - amyb1076

We just did this on thurs and then went to the grotto for lunch. My little girl loved it! Tip for the mom asking about larger sizes-I don't think you'll find shoes to fit her there and not too sure about dress sizes. If I was to do it again I would have brought a sale dress from home :) as they are quite pricy. Bring a tank top or undershirt too as they are itchy for the little ones - melnyks

So my daughter isn't the only one who thinks they're itchy? - TrueFromOzLovesDisney 312.3 #547 12:39AM
I did it for my daughter on her 5th birthday and I brought a princes dress that I had already purchased at Costco. I snuck it to the Fairy Godmother in training and she was great about it. I bought shoes and gloves there and the FGIT had everything all set-up for her in the dressing room. It was one of my most fond memories at DL. Worth every penny. - DesperateMousewife

@2beignetornot: yes, I saw bigger sizes. Last I checked (a couple if months ago) I thought they went up to 14/16? They were pretty big. Hope this helps!!! - 7mouskedoodles
