So I've read a post that said the prices for military discounted park tickets would go up on Jan 1, 2013. Well my father went to purchase my annual pass yesterday and they quoted him full price. He was shocked. I was (ya lets not go there). So he asked about just one day at Disneyland and quoted him full price again. O.O I called the other MWRs in San Diego and they quoted full price. :/ So I'm just wondering if anyone has heard/read that they are no longer giving military discounts? Even if they raised prices, you would think there would still be a discount.

They did give a better discount last year then they are giving this year but every little bit helps. $30 a ticket really adds up when we needed 6 tickets. - rachelelizabeth 146.6 #2335 11:14AM

a friend of ours wanted to buy disney passes on base, and there was only a $3 discount, that was early this year. bummed because they used to have a decent discount. - OhanaPhoto

I believe it's been $3 for a while. At least that's what I heard because my husband and I were going to go that route but it wasnt worth it to us for a $3 discount so we just bought our annual passes at the parks - Queenof2princesses 254.7 #963 5:59PM

I heard you can get a 3day park hopper for the price of one day park hopper and it's good until September. Might want to ask about that? - lovetheland7

We bought our annual passes before the prices went up for military in December since they had them at the old price. But when I called after the new year, the prices had gone up. I found the marine bases had the best discount for AP(MCRD). I don't think the regular hopper tickets are that much discounted since they have the 3 day $125 tickets. That is what they do for us?! - emnldsmom
