Back in the mid 1990s Disneyland had a wonderful idea to replace the Main Street Electrical Parade with an all new Nightime spectacular that was supposed to be a great replacment for the Electrical Parade and brough a lot of hype behind it. Going back to my post yesterday with the Lion King Parade, back in the days Disneyland use to have 4 parades a day...Two day time parades that typically were for whatever movie was being released that summer and then the two night time parades with the last one typically starting at 10:30pm and making its way up main Street to Small world. Well Disneylands new Parade "Light Magic" was probably the biggest faliure in Disney Entertainment History. It was so bad that they had an Annual Passholder night preview and the line was very long from guests complining about how terrible it was and asking for their money back. With that said the parade only lasted through the summer months and was canceled in Sept only 4 months after debuting. For thos who never saw it here is what Castmembers Called it "Light Tragic"

In remember seeing it a few times. There was so much glitter and confetti! I felt bad for the CMs who had to pick it all up. I also remember once or twice they had technical difficulties and the music just stopped, or the screens on the floats weren't working.
