Both are great, but different. Plaza Inn is more casual. Blue Bayou is pricier, but you are right there on the bayou, which is very cool. Get reservations if you want to go there though. Have fun. - meridafan

Blue Bayou is great for the atmosphere if you're near the water. Last time we got put near the kitchen where the servers kept coming in and out. It wasn't the same. I like the Plaza Inn if you're on a budget. - JediKitty

My fave is Blue Bayou for their surf and turf but they only serve it at night so make reservations. Very romantic. Our bill usually comes to around $100 for hubby and I. Plaza Inn has the best chicken and more family atmosphere and we usually spend about $30 or so there. Hope this helps. Both places are very good. - MrsSchnooks
