My wife and I took our five kids to DL in March, 2011 for 3 days and then again last September for 5 days. Now we're coming back next Monday but leaving the kids behind. I have 5 days in the park just with my wife and I'm looking for suggestions on unique experiences that we haven't known about or that can't be done with toddlers around. Any great tips?
Hold hands. We have 2 boys and are always holding one of their hands. We were at the parks for a few hours last night without them and I realized how much I miss holding her hand. - Philliprocks

You do know that you each have two hands, right? Right? 😜 - bluefairy 627.0 #173 2:57AM
We've tried that and just make a huge roadblock. And actually we only have one right and one left hand. - Philliprocks 275.3 #770 8:45AM
Have a romantic dinner at Napa Rose (GCH), or Carthay Circle (DCA). - Alicewhoareyou

I second the Napa Rose suggestion. Sit at the chef's counter for less romance but way more fun. Its an unforgettable experience :) - missariel33 99.9 #3029 10:05PM
We do have reservations for Carthay Circle. I can't wait to try the food there - MisterRandom 202.9 #1582 10:19PM

5 days no kids I say take it easy slow down 5 days with no kids u can get it all in easy so I say no need to rush enjoy the sights and sounds and dinner and a empty hotel room (lol) and maybe even head to the beach after the parks one day, my fav is Huntington
