According to a CM at the Market House, it will close next month to prepare to become a Starbucks. Get your photos of it while you still can. The Market House has been here since 1955.

Eh... I've pretty much come to terms with this for 3 reasons: 1)I have faith that it will be well done, 2) Disneyland is constantly growing and changing and this is just one more thing, and 3) It's not like the presence of major corporate partners isn't evident all over the parks. In fact, the park probably wouldn't exist without these partnerships. - JustCantWait

It's sad but true...the beloved Market House AND Disneyana are both being taken over by Starbucks. I'm absolutely nautious over this. The CM's there that have served me coffee there for over 14 years are livid. It's the only place that still serves Disneylands own brew and also refills coffee for free. They did advise me to complain to City Hall. Starbucks has no place on Main Street USA!! I'm just so sad about this. All for $$$... - McPoppins

Sorry, I'm one of those who LOVES Starbucks in the park. I wasn't sure before the added one in DCA, but coming from the NW, I so appreciate a good cup of coffee, and I love that I can now get one in the park. I love Disney and the market house as well.... but I am from Seattle and I love starbucks. I am happy to see the two come together, that being said they need to keep what we love about the market house and I have faith in Disney that they will give us the best of both worlds!
