Why am I so excited when I find someplace to charge my phone
Just so you know... Disneyland now discourages using outlets around the park for charging mobile devices. These are not rated for charging mobile batteries. There are special lockers at the Main Street Lockers which are equipped for charging these devices. You can choose one with an outlet or with the power adapter plug for your device. - MyPark

As mentioned above, these sockets are nt in fact to be used by guests, but there are lockers with outlets, or even go to NewTrent.com and get a portable charger! It is a lifesaver in the parks, and it's a total MWer thing, you'll love it! Thank you! - AvidDisneyThrifter220

I have been tempted to use an outlet at disneyland but have never used one because I am afraid of my phone getting zapped. I just splurged on amazon and bought an extended battery/charger for my iPhone 5. It's also helpful because I go camping a lot. I would highly recommend one for anyone. Amazon has a great variety for all phones and good quality. - ibsleepingbeauty12

You can get it online, but if you have a Costco you get a better deal. Plus, no shipping and handling, and you can take it back. I have the Nomad 7, 2panels (newer version the older is 3 panals). It came with the adapter to charge AA, AAA batteries, and the RockOut speakers. At costco, it was like getting the speakers free. I just clip on my camel pack and go. You can buy cheap, portable chargers for like $5 on eBay. They're small (about 2 x 1.5 inches). Works well for a charge. The bigger Trents are good if you're using your phone all day. - JediKitty 300.0 #628 6:20PM

Last visit I was trying to find the husband an kids (they took advantage of no line and i couldn't find them) my phone died and I was walking around plugging it in to any plug I found and none were working I figured they didn't want anyone charging phones anymore some how my family found me - lisaw

You can usually buy an extra battery for any phone for under $5 on EBay. And today's sizes make it easy to slip a backup in a pocket or purse with no noticeable added weight. Cheapest solution. - mandigutterrose
