Hi does anyone know if you renew ur pass at Disney and your blackout that day will they let you in? My friend wants to go with me tomorrow but she is blacked out.
I know if you are buying a pass on a day that would be blocked out for that pass they let you in. If her pass is technically still not expired today then you may want to call the resort to double check. - kevinsbeach

My friend and her husband renewed at the ticket booth this past Veterans Day and when they got to the gate he was told that he was blocked and couldn't get in. They finally let him in after talking to guest relations since he is in the Army but it was an exception. - Vegan7LuvsStitch

If you renew it on a blackout day, they will let you in. Just don't lose the paper they give you! It's your blackout exception that allows you to go between the 2 parks. Heck, you paid $200+ that day for admission-they better let you in! - ChelseyBea

hmm I never heard of this...Can anyone else confirm? I hope its true for people with lower ap passes - JollyRoger5 1873.9 #39 12:59PM
It's true. I renewed on a blockout date and I didn't have to pay for a blockout ticket to get in. They gave me a ticket that said "blockout exception" or something like that, which you have to show at the turnstiles - PrincessMacy 503.0 #236 2:10PM
I know this was true last year but I haven't checked in awhile. Please let us know what you find out tomorrow. - Twitterpated
