Last one for tonight. Fantasyland August 1969 (my dad was stationed in San Diego so they visited often). Teacups on your bottom left, carousel, castle and Fantasyland theater on the right? I think that is the monorail track in the background. I'm thinking my dad took this from Dumbo but it seems too high...any ideas?
Pretty sure it was taken from the Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship. The little kiosks were in fact ticket booths. How I miss this site! - Gia

Thanks Gia, it's hard to tell from the other pics. The Skyway lines ran very close to the ship, but we should see parts of the ship if it were taken from the Skyway. - Linzee 533.6 #218 9:17AM
I really like throwback Thurs! Seeing how much everything have changed over the years! You can really see the magic. - LilMissPixie84

It could be Dumbo or the Chicken of the Sea pirate ship. The Fantasyland Theater is now Pinocchio, which used to show old Mickey Mouse Club shows - BaseballMickey_CM

Great info!! Do you know what the little blue and white striped huts were for? (There are 2 in this picture) - Linzee 533.6 #218 9:16PM
Couldn't it be from the Skyway? - shadowgamer 1960.6 #36 9:17PM
They could be ticket booths? That'd be my guess but not sure if they ticket system was in effect in 1969... - BaseballMickey_CM 2995.5 #15 9:18PM
Yeah I think they are the ticket booths too - PrincessDuckie 590.8 #190 9:21PM
I believe the tickets were in effect until the late 70s, early 80s. - bluefairy 629.0 #176 11:37PM
Ya-I think my map says they are ticket booths like BBMCM said. Cool pic! - TinkerSchelle 693.9 #149 11:50PM
What I love is zooming in on the people. A warm day in August and hardly anyone in shorts. People in line and walking around with no phones. - RadiatorSprings4Ever

I think maybe the picture was taken from the skyway. ( I called them buckets when I was little) - that-goofy-girl

It's totally possible, looks high enough, I just don't remember what direction it went when it exited/entered the Matterhorn. - Linzee 533.6 #218 9:24PM
Lol I can see myself going thru old pictures this weekend. - that-goofy-girl 5.7 #9740 9:42PM
I looked at some old pictures online last night. Kinda sorta looks like the skyway. The angle does look off, but I think it may depend on which way you are going. - that-goofy-girl 5.7 #9740 11:12AM
I love the pictures you've been posting today. - MonLuvsDisney

Did Casey Jr. Go by there? Maybe taken from that? Or that ship someone else mentioned. Love these old pix! I remember going into the theater to cool off on a hot day, and just sitting there watching movies for as long as we wanted to stay! I believe it was a 'B' ticket. - meridafan

If you have time you should check out the other pic I posted last night you can see the 'tunnels' through the Matterhorn, it was the neatest feeling going through there. - Linzee 533.6 #218 9:42AM

The skyway was fun when I was like 7 (40 years ago) I rode them not so long ago at the San Diego zoo and up at the boardwalk in Santa Cruz. Lol scared me to death! - that-goofy-girl 5.7 #9740 11:17AM
