Our trip yesterday was touched by a magical moment from cm Laine on this ship. Tatum gave her a lollipop and a valentine card and caught his name. Since she was the captain of the boat, she announced that a captain Tatum was on board and needed to help steer the ship over the intercom and his eyes lit up and ran back over to her. She taught the all clear sign and when he could "turn right", when the anchor was up. She allowed him to say Arrrr on the speaker and call out shots being fired with the cannon. Although he wasn't really steering the ship, he surely thought he was and felt amazingly special, that if another child tried to steer, he would pull his sword out on him. He didn't really want to get off this trip and I thank her for her magical moment she gave him. (Yes I went to city hall to praise her)
