Can someone solve the Prince Phillip hat mystery for me? I really don't remember him wearing the top hat with the feather (and I'm not a fan of it)?😕 I remember the one to the right very well! I've searched Google (I don't have the movie😔) and can't find a photo with him in the black hat. I really wish they would have him in the one that is so framiler from the movie. Sorry, he's just my favorite prince. I mean, the guy can dance and fight dragons...what's not to love? 😄

The hat is actually purple ( I'm guessing that Flora and Merriweather had a compromise on the color) and slants slightly forward but not at the extreme angle that it does in the movie. Probably just Disney's wardrobe designers liked it that way. If not, I answer 42. - shadowgamer

I've also noticed that Snow White's prince has 2 different hats. He has a blue one that he wears during meet and greets and then a brown one for parades, though I do think he has 2 in the movie as well. Noticed it while moving photos around on Flickr. - shadowgamer

I 100% agree. Phillip is my favorite prince but the hat just does not make sense whatsoever. I don't even think they had top hats in the Middle Ages when the story is supposed to take place. Way to go Disney for being historically inaccurate. And if Prince Eric can walk around without a hat, why can't Phillip?
