This is probably an odd question, so hopefully I picked the most appropriate lounge to post. My husband will be having surgery in Mid March and we plan on leaving two weeks after his surgery to spend 3 weeks to a month in Anaheim. I am trying to figure out the most cost effective way for our lodging. If anyone has some brainstorming ideas for me, do you mind sending me a DM? I have a request into the GM of the motel we usually stay at to see if they can work with our pricing but I thought I'd ask fellow MW'ers if they had any ideas to help. Right now I've got a rate of about $800 for two weeks at one motel and there is a Travelodge that does month long leases for ~$1000 but I'm not sure if the TL will work for us. Thanks for any advice you can give, please return to your regularly scheduled Disney magic.
Please be careful when using Craigslist. I work as an Investigator and I see a lot of fraud coming from people who post rentals on Craigslist and then after paying them money, the victim discovers that there is no rental. Try established rental agencies bedore Craigslist. - Sharkgrrl19

Yes, you can check the OC Register online for rentals, and look for some of the smaller local papers if there are any around there. I would not recommend Craig's list for rentals either, too much fraud. Is there a residence inn somewhere nearby? Make sure you ask about parking too in case they charge for that!! - secretagentangel 710.8 #143 4:24PM
Great idea about the OC Register! Sharkgrrl, I am concerned about CL, your comments are right on the mark, thanks so much. - MrsMears 214.5 #1456 4:48PM
It depends on how close you want to be, there is a nice place in brea that has the whole kitchen, etc... and do month long stays. i can find out the name if that is not too far but it will take at least 20 minutes to get to the park from there. it is right off the 57. - secretagentangel 710.8 #143 4:52PM
have you tried vrbo? that's who we use when we vacation. they have tons of house rentals. - OhanaPhoto

If you have access to an RV or camper, there is an RV park close and it's about$50 a night. Anaheim rv village. They also give a discount if you have a pass. It's very nice. We stay there a lot. - SueBayou

I want to buy an RV eventually to have a place to take my brother with me to places but still be able to have the comforts of "home". I always wondered how much it was near DL to park, thanks!:) - secretagentangel 710.8 #143 5:05PM
10% off with AP and stay 6 days get the 7th free. They do charge a per person fee for more than 2 people. Also they allow pets and have a dog run. Pool too. Also tent spots. - SueBayou 2012.0 #35 5:10PM
