*food review* we were fortunate enough to have a nice desert at the Blue Bayou yesterday and really enjoyed it :) I got the apple fritter desert (available for a limited time) with a cherry syrup and some sort of apple glaze. it's came with a scoop of ice cream and was super delicious :) the cherries were a bit tart, but the melting ice cream sweetened it up. the fritters were warm and soft. i wish they had this desert all year! my hubby had the chocolate lava cake which also came with a scoop of ice cream, but we had them put in a separate bowl so Ruthi could have her own. I didn't try it because I'm not a chocolate person, but Ruthi, Doug, and Hunter all approved :) we will definitely be back for desert again soon! total came out to around $17 with ap discount. totally worth it!
