Hello MouseWait. My name is Tyler Duncan, but most people call me TDunc. Anyway, when I get older I want to be an imagineer for Disney, but I don't know what I should start doing to get myself ready. I am a sophomore in high school, and I have already started to make plans for rides. Any information would be much appreciated. Thank you MouseWait crew.
Welcome. I am also on my way to becoming an imagineer someday. What do you like to do? Engineering, design, etc. you don't have to be an engineer to be an imagineer, but you do have to be creative. If you do want to be an engineer, mechanical, civil, electrical... Keep up on the math and physics until you graduate. Choose a college that fits you and that you can see yourself being at. It's doesn't have to be Ivy League or a prestigious school, because its the experience that matters. I would suggest trying to do the Disney college program after a couple years in college. Take a semester off to do that. I sorta regret not doing college program. See how you like it. But above all, have fun. - TikiJOSEsWingman

CalArts is a good choice for Disney (think John Lassiter and Tim burton). - bluefairy 627.0 #173 12:51AM
