Edit* Thanks for all of the great info!! I have a second question. If you have already bought tickets for a 2 day hopper for an upcoming trip, are you able to go to the park and apply that purchase to the purchase of an annual pass?
I have a question for passholders. My husband out of the blue tonight said "Maybe we should look into getting annual passes" 😳WHAT?! Maybe he was abducted by little green men last night 👽? I was looking on the website, and I saw that there were discounts for the DL hotels, but I wasn't able to find what those discounts were....have any of you booked with your annual pass at a DL hotel? What type of discounts do they offer?

Just for an example if you booked a standard hotel for tomorrow night with a So Cal annual pass the prices would be as follows: paradise pier $180 vs $240, Disneyland hotel $244 vs $305, and the Grand $269 vs $359. Idk if the discount varies throughout the year though. - aidensmama

Yes, you can apply the cost of the park hoppers to the purchase of the AP. You just need to do it before the last day of the hopper. I personally would do it as soon as you got there so that you could make full use of the AP benefits (discounts) for your entire trip. - jmgphx

The discounts are displayed under the AP Section if the Disneyland website....there is not a set percentage for ap holders. They change depending on the season and availability and some dates may have no discounts at all. - JenInWonderland
