Hubby and i were talking about getting "stuck" on splash mountain right before the drop so I was wondering 1) what's the weirdest spot on a ride you've been "stuck" 2) how long did it take them to get you off?
I wonder what happens when someone who can't walk is in the coster? How would they get them down the stairs? - Princess Daisy

They have to call Disneyland Fire Department (DFD) who often would have a special wheelchair or other contraption. The family and said guest are unfortunately forced to wait longer inside or on the attraction until the appropriate people are there. - IDVandalSkipperCM 1290.8 #63 11:24PM

We got stuck right at the end of Winnie the Pooh- before you go through the last doors outside. It took 45 minutes for us to be let out- my daughter fell asleep. Sadly, that was before the iPhone. - MoonWillow

When the kids were super little, we were at Disneyland during a nasty rain storm. It was so bad that the power kept shutting down. We were on pirates just before you get to the battle when the power shut down. We waited a half an hour in the dark. Suddenly the lights came on, and two CMs came to lead us out. - mrstoad

This past trip we talked our 12 yr old to go on it, he was terrified of the snake but had been on it many times a couple years ago. We broke down right after we passed the snake. We got stuck on Pirates at WDW. We were in the very last section at the Treasure Room, and they had a bridge that rested on the edge of the boat. We were lucky-the folks behind us in the middle of the water had to wait until the boats ahead were pushed out of the way and then get pushed to where they could get out- all the pushing through the water by CM's. it was neat getting a super close view of anamatronic Jack! - chelebee

got stuck in indy once at the rolling ball scene for like 20 min ,no walk out but indy just swinging back and forth,but I think the scariest stuck would have to be tower of terror at the top - pikarich

I don't know that it's possible for a train to stop at that spot on Screamin'. I don't think they'd have a safety/park brake (yes, that's what they're called) at the top of an upside down loop! - IDVandalSkipperCM 1290.8 #63 10:29PM
^^Yep, just phisically its impossible for Scremin' to since the trains are so long and the loop is very small. The only time a roller coaster has been stuck upside down that I know of was at Six Flags Great America. - BrerRabbit 228.7 #1259 10:50PM

Many years ago I got stuck on BTMRR going up the hill where the rocks fall from above. We were there about 30 minutes and it was very awkward and uncomfortable. They walked everyone off but our train and then they got things back going. A couple years ago we were stuck inside IASW for 45 minutes and the music never stopped. Very scary. - mamamouse22

We got stuck on Peter Pan once. I was 6 months pregnant and had to pee so bad. We were right by the mermaids at the end. They walked off the boats right up to ours and said they couldn't walk us off because we were too far back. It was torture! They appologized a few times while we were stuck there. I forgot how long we were stuck there but it was a while. Whenever we get to those mermaids we can't help but giggle still. - Autoalice

Years ago during some preview days at DCA we got stuck on California screamin right after the loop we were pretty high up, I had pushed my lap bar down to tight and the music was blaring in my ears all while being stuck it was about 40 minutes until they had to come and walk all of us down...I've only been on that ride once more since that day! - chorizo11

I've been stuck on Space Mountain. The lights all came on and we waited for about 15 minutes until CM's came up the elevators and walked over and pushed us. With the way the ride is built we just went down the track. Some parts were slow and others fast. We got to the end and got it running again and asked us if we all wanted to go again and everyone screamed Yes! I was petrified to go again and still am. It's pretty scary looking down and seeing how high up you are! - MrsSchnooks

We got stuck on an outside turn on the Matterhorn at an angle for 45 min. We then got walked off. There was a small section without a rail and had to hold on to the sled. A LITTLE scary. - sewedna

We have been stuk on soace mountain a couple times but this last weekend we were stopped on tower of terror in the pitch black. People were turning on their phones at we could have light but the cm kept asking us to turn them off. Felt so bad there was a little kid and he was freaked out. Finally we got pulled back down and the man sitting next to my husband was removed from the ride, they would only tell us that he was playing with his safety belt. - mcramos925

Got stuck on Space in the tunnel right before the big dome. I was sad because we couldn't see the rest of the ride, just the lift section we were on and because of the angle, it was kind of awkward to get out. - Sarafina

I've only had one walkoff - Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. We stopped right before the fire scene. That was interesting to walk through (and REALLY warm). We only had to wait about five-ten minutes, though. - jmgphx

Our family was stuck almost at the top of space mtn. It took 15-20 minutes before they got up there to let us out. Then we had to walk down the entire ride. All the lights were on. Then we were given free passes for ANY ride. Used our first one for Peter Pan. :) - briane123

I got stuck on splash halfway up the drop for about 5 minutes then the ride started moving but then got stuck again at the top for about 5 minutes. It felt like we would fall backwards. No walk off. It was late and not crowded so they let us ride again with no problems. - Nicole

I got stuck in one of the rafts on Grizzl river run! They had us go to the handicapped raft because there was a party of two who needed a few more to fill put e raft and we got stuck with the bar (that's supposed to push us out) under the raft, lifting up one side! We were stuck in the sun for about half an hour, and we had to wait for the Disney Fire Department to get us out! It was an adventure! - MinnieMouseKakes

We got stuck on BTMRR on the hill at the beginning underneath where the water is flowing. We were there for quite a while and although the water isn't directly on the train, it splashes and we got wet. We loved every minute of it and eventually they came and walked us off. - PirateQueenBriezy

When I was at WDW, I saw stuck on Test Track for about 10 minutes. The ride audio went out and the car went into cruise control (when it was supposed to gain speed). We just sat there until the car started up again. When we got back to the loading area, the CMs seemed like nothing happened to us and almost didn't know we were stuck. - BaseballMickey_CM

I got stuck on splash (thankfully not before the big drop!) but a CM came by and got everyone off then we walked along the side to an exit. It only took like 5 min and there was a few bunches of people and it was really organized. Another time I got stuck on Indy, the lights came on and we were stuck for a few min, and started going again lights still on. Then we stopped and went a few more times. We made it to the loading/unlading area then everything was fixed they let us go again. - victoria13

I got stuck on splash mountain and it was fun because we got escorted of the right and we got to walk through the beginning of the ride so it was like we were riding it backwards an all the animals were moving but none were speaking it was weird (: - BengalBoy12
