Not every food find can be a winner :( the Apple Fritters (New Orleans $3.69) were super dense, cold, slightly overcooked and a little stale. Maybe a bad batch? Onto the next food adventure!

I would rather have beignets, too. They were rather dry, which says overcooked to me. We had Creme brûlée at the same time, so I still got to enjoy something creamy! - meridafan
