Keeping wait and fast pass return times updated is going to be even more important. I'm totally okay with the enforcement, I hope people understand and don't turn into crabby patties. - Linzee

I agree! I'm all for this. I feel bad for the CMs that will have to deal with irate guests when trying to enforce this. But I'm sure this will be better in the long run for CMs and guests alike. Please everyone be nice to the CMs out there just doing their jobs! And encourage others to do the same. - MousekaNinja 334.7 #452 8:40AM
I am going to love the expression on the first stock piling families face when they realize all that hard work was for nothing. - MeridasHair 319.7 #521 8:41AM
Maybe if you see people stock piling you could politely ask the return times and inform them of the rule. I'm sure they would appreciate it and it would make their visit to the parks better than being turned away from so many attractions. - MousekaNinja 334.7 #452 8:48AM

Yeah, you should definitely try that! 😝 - MousekaNinja 334.7 #452 8:37AM

Attention Mw Disney is rolling out a program called Fastpass that will enable you to virtually hold a spot at specific attraction and you must return within the time stamped on the Fastpass. The only question is what will happen when an attraction is down for an exteneded amount of time. Sounds like an awesome program. - pikarich

Fortunately Cms know when the attraction is "down" each day so exceptions can be made to for such situations. - BalooTBear 904.4 #97 10:24PM

Good to know. I have loved being able to use FP after the hour 'window', but I can't complain that they have let us do this for SO long. I'll just have to plan better on my next trip. - PrincessKristin

I have to say, I used to be really sad about this change. Then I went to wdw for the first time in October and I now think its a good thing. It really makes fast passes FAST. Like no line, walk on fast. Yes it requires a bit more planning. But I think it's a good thing - Pixarprincess

Good! The fastpass was getting out of hand. I think it is very unfair for the people standing in line . Watching 30 people get in and only 10 of the regular line. Very frustrating! I really think they should just get rid of them altogether. It should be one line at that's it. It moves alot better without them. - Mickeyandfriends

I think getting rid of FP is extreme. Any of those people in line have the same opportunity to obtain a FP as those holding FP's. If DL charged extra for that (as some other theme parks do), then it would not be okay. - PrincessKristin 774.5 #126 9:22AM
Well said PK. Every time we go by Splash Mtn I say to myself Why don't they get fast passes?!?! Especially when the return time is so close to the wait time. I know it's not possible all the time but it really is a great system. - MrsSchnooks 572.5 #193 9:38AM
I remember being told that FP actually slow down the lines. There was talk of getting rid of them. - RadioMaverick 526.9 #218 7:40PM
It's not unfair. Anyone can get a fastpass. Most rides have them still available till late in the evening. If it bothers you to wait longer then get a fastpass as well. - aidensmama 336.4 #445 7:43PM
No, all of us going to the park can't get there at opening or even by noon. So, when we get there the fastpasses are gone.
And it doesn't help that people do get more than one. Which also should be stopped. - Mickeyandfriends

Are you talking about for multiple people in their party? Or people who get more than one fast pass for themselves for the same ride? Either way, sorry to say but it's first come first serve. I've gone a couple of times where me and those in my party got 2 fast passes for each of us to use for TOT. We love the ride and will go on as much as we can. - LBChica 1500.2 #52 9:49AM
FP help people make the most of their day. Some people only get to the parks once a year and they don't have the luxury of going whenever they want. - Sharkgrrl19 202.9 #1584 7:45PM
Everytime I've gone in the evening I still have been able to get a fastpass except for rsr. I don't know how late you are arriving. What isn't fair is that there are homeless children starving in this country. - aidensmama 336.4 #445 7:45PM
A Cast Member last night told me signs were going to go up re:.FP on Feb 18. - MrsMears

They were enforcing it at WDW. The CM at Expedition Everest told the lady in front of us, "I'm sorry, but you are 2 hours past your fastpass time. You'll have to get new fastpasses or wait in the stand-by line." She questioned him and he said that these are the new rules. - nerdgirl

And it makes the fastpass line fast at wdw as opposed to here, we never waited more that 5 min with a fp at wdw - Pixarprincess 531.4 #215 8:18AM
I wonder how strict to the time they'll enforce? A 5min grace time? 10..15..? - London-In-Wonderland 395.1 #338 8:24AM
