Hey MW, got a question and I wonder if somebody has the answer out there. One of my coworkers is from New Orleans. It's no secret where I work that I am a big Disneyland fan. He asked me the other day why Walt Disney decided to build New Orleans Square? How does New Orleans Square fit in with the rest of Disneyland? Thoughts?
Walt traveled around the country and fell in love with New Orleans from the food, the atmosphere, the architecture and more, so he decided to build his own in his dream park. - BaseballMickey_CM

What BBM said! It was a favorite of his and his wife. Tell your friend that the structures are very detailed even down to the very authentic "Romeo Spikes"!! - Gia 785.5 #121 1:15PM
Thanks guys for the responses! I love that part of the park, and figured it had to do something with Walt's life, just like Main Street. - drewmarasco
