ScooterMike's Celebrity Birthday With A Disney Connection - Phil Collins was born on this date in 1951. He is well known as the drummer and lead singer of Genesis, as well as for his very successful solo career. His hit songs include "In The Air Tonight", "Another Day In Paradise", "Sussudio", and "Against All Odds". Phil wrote and recorded songs for the 1999 Disney film "Tarzan", and composed songs for the 2003 film "Brother Bear". In 2002 he received the Disney Living Legend award. Happy 62nd birthday to Phil Collins.
I am a huge fan of the singer/drummer. I think his work on these films was outstanding and right up there with some of his best work. I was saddened when he announced his retirement in March of 2011. - MyPark
