Is two years old too young to take my son for the first time to the parks? He'll be we'll versed in Disney movies by then.

I think two is an appropriate age. We are taking our 22 month old in March and it will be her first time. We went a year ago and she stayed with grandma. I just think as a mom with three kids, I had no desire to take an infant to Disneyland. Now, she is talking and can say "Mickey" and "Minnie" She is definitely ready to go! Hope you have a great experience. - DisneyLuva4Life

First time we took the boys they were 4.5 and 1.5 yrs old. My daughter's first trip was at 17 days old, she's practically grown up there at this point. They are now 12,9 and 3.5. 2 is a wonderful age to bring them, heck even younger is still so much fun! There is so much to do for all ages! - Autoalice

My nieces and nephew have been going to Disneyland since they were newborns. They are now 10, 9 and 3. My nephew is the youngest and has 'gotten' what it means to be at the parks since he became aware of his surroundings. - KermitFan13

Took my nephew at 4 months. The colors, lights, and sounds are good to stimulate their senses - but you can't really stay too long. I think 2 years old is a perfect age because they're old enough to understand things and start believing in the magic! - LaTruce

My sister took her baby on week 2 :) never too young for Disney. Lol the obly difference is she's a CM and lives 10 minutes away, goes all the time. I'm sure you're looking more into a special trip, I get that :) honestly I can't help much, but I can say I went my first time at age 3, and I still remember things 16 years later! - AvidDisneyThrifter220

I started taking my oldest to Disneyland when she was six months old. She loved it! When she first started speaking, Disney was one of her first words. As soon as we got to the parking structure, she knew where we were and would start screaming, "Disney! Disney!" So taking your toddler is going to be fun!!! - Queenof2princesses

Not at all! I was 2 when I first went and that was where my love for Disney began. I still have my first pair of Mickey ears that I got the first time I went. Just take loads of pictures and video if you can! He'll thank you later. Also, you could maybe swing by town hall and get him a first timer button. I think that would be a special keepsake :) - x2ndstar2therightx

Two is a perfect age! I suggest what I've seen on several other posts - find a spot in the park and take a photo of him standing there. Then every other time you take him, take a photo in the same place. It'll be awesome to look back and see how much he's grown. :) Have fun! - jmgphx
