Tomorrow I will start early and pack my gear, again. I will head down to the river’s edge and try to charm the engine of my tramp steamer to reluctantly crank over. I will check her over to see if she is still river worthy or, close enough to look convincing. I will introduce myself to the day’s tourists excited who are excited by the chance of finding adventure. With a few last words of instruction and one last glance at civilization we will embark together on a journey through the Rain forests and jungles of the world. With a little luck and relying on my cunning and wit we may make it back made a little wiser, a little closer and a little better for the experience. As we say good bye and part ways we will wish each other luck and vow to stay in touch. I will then ease the empty old boat forward, gather myself, take a deep breath and do it all again.
