Ok so me and my girlfriend have a trip planed for valentines day. She doesn't know but I plan on proposing to her. What can I do to make the day even more special?

I got married on Valentine's Day! Here's what I would do: I would have a friend go ahead of us and take a dozen red roses with them. (the friend would be there without your girlfriend knowing) I would have him go and give a single red rose to a CM at different locations. Then text you and tell you where to go next. Go there and when you walk up the CM will hand her the rose. Your final stop should be a location you want to propose and I'd see if a character would hold the ring for you and them hand it to her after you popped the question. - DisneyDavidEMT

I once helped a guy arrange a proposal on Splash Mountain. He came a month in advanced to let us know what he wanted. The story went as follows: he brought his girlfriend to the park one day and "happened" to run into some of his friends right next to Splash. They had enough FPs for all of them to ride together. The plan was to sit the couple in the front two seats with his friends in the back holding up signs that they pre-made with the proposal on it. After the went down the big drop, the CMs at the photo store purposely blocked the photo so his girlfriend wouldn't see the message. They exited the attraction and the guy went to buy the picture without his girlfriend seeing it. After the CM unblocked the picture, he bought it and gave it to her right outside the store and proposed right there. Now that was the plan he told us, but I'm not sure if it actually happened. - BaseballMickey_CM

Tell your girlfriend that you want to spend the day making goofy spoof pictures. Pose like the Indian. Get shots making pirate faces in the POTC que in front of the different captains. Maybe even hold hands in front of the partners statue. Make the last one of the day in the castle tunnel. Obviously you'll have to ask a cm to take the picture for you. There's a picture of Prince Phillip kissing Aurora with a bench beneath it. Have your girlfriend lay down on the bench, kiss her, take the picture, propose, take another picture, kiss her again, and of course take more pictures! - LittleAprilShowers

Try talking to someone that works for Disney, they are big on helping people out for an engagement. They are very professional and will help you in any way they can. Good luck and maybe watch YouTube videos of proposals, they might spark the next great idea. - TDunc55

First, congrats! Second, Definitely find somebody nearby to take your photo... If you're planning to propose somewhere that doesn't have a disney photographer, tell somebody that seems nice to please take photos of you guys for the next few minutes. I love these ideas and the caricature is darling and fun to frame forever! If you want more romantic, I just thought that maybe you could get a photo pass photographer to be at Snow White's wishing well. You could take turn making wishes, she could go first, then your "wish" could be that she become your wife! Beautiful spot for picture backgrounds, a little private, and fun to go back there every trip and make more "wishes".

Congratulations! My cousin was proposed to by having her fiancé wear a shirt saying "will you marry me" that he had hidden under his jacket and at the picture on space mountain he unzipped the jacket. It was super cute! I know of another couple who got engaged by having MWers hold signs saying "will you marry me" as the train pulled up and they were taking pictures in front of the flowers/main street station. It was also very cute! Whatever you end up doing you absolutely have to have someone taking pictures and maybe even a video. Every girl wants that moment documented. It will be lovely whatever you do! But don't hesitate to ask MWers to help of you need it. We'll be there! - x2ndstar2therightx
