Ok MWers I asked my friend to come with me to Disneyland I even offered to pay for her ticket into the parks and she said no because she would feel weird about it, which I can understand but my question is: If you were offered an all expense paid trip to Disneyland would you accept the invintation?

Sure - E-Ticket  772.1 #128 7:58AM
πŸ˜ƒ - E-Ticket  772.1 #128 7:59AM
It would depend on who is offering the trip. But most likely I'd say yes. Haha - PiecesOf8  373.1 #368 8:04AM
I would say yes to the ticket. Then i would offer to pay for some of the meals. - gonzofam  119.5 #2747 8:14AM
Aww. Go solo. You will have more fun - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1798.4 #42 8:44AM
For 3 days? - missaroura  139.0 #2460 8:46AM
I would. You can meet up w/ MWers and have a cool experience :) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1798.4 #42 8:53AM
That's true - missaroura  139.0 #2460 9:09AM
If she already had the SF plans, then that is understandable. Even if not, I wouldn't really read anything into it. Even a best friend's ethics code can make them feel a little uncomfortable accepting such a generous gift as that. Nothing wrong if she did accept, but nothing wrong if she won't, either. I wouldn't take it personally if I were you. Just go, and have fun! And every mom out there is jealous, 'cause we'd love a day to ourselves! Have fun! - meridafan  1035.3 #83 8:49AM
Ahahahahaha...at the jealous mom part!!!! Truth - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1798.4 #42 8:54AM
Yes ^^^ I'd love to take a 3 day trip by myself to Disneyland for a much needed toddler less break! - DisneyLuvinMama  217.5 #1392 9:11AM
Mom is going if she can get help with grandma - missaroura  139.0 #2460 9:11AM
Gladly :D especially with the price the tickets are nowadays. - Ain1derland  325.5 #499 9:02AM
Yes, I accept. When are we going? JK. Few years ago a friend surprised my wife and I with tickets to Disneyland and a wad of cash and babysat my kids so my wife and I can spend our 10 year anniversary at DL. Of course it was real hard to accept but they wouldn't take no for an answer. It was amazing and weird and awkward and exciting, but after a many hugs and tears and thank yous we went and had a great time. So you can either force them like my friend did or ask someone else - Philliprocks  276.3 #762 10:57AM
Depends on who is extending the invitation. - Lelundrial  341.0 #427 7:59AM
A friend. Like ur best friend. - missaroura  139.0 #2460 8:02AM
free trip who in their right mind would turn down a trip to the happiest place on earth - CM_Oregonducksfan  2639.6 #18 8:03AM
Crazy people lol πŸ˜„ - missaroura  139.0 #2460 8:04AM
Honestly, this is a silly question to ask a bunch of MWers. But personally, if this hypothetical offer was made by a good friend I don't think I'd have any problem with it. It sounds like your friend, for whatever reason, isn't comfortable with it. - MyPark  944.1 #91 8:04AM
They want to go to San Francisco instead. - missaroura  139.0 #2460 8:05AM
Well why didn't you say that? 😜 - MyPark  944.1 #91 8:09AM
It depends who the invitation was from. If it was a close friend who I have done stuff for as well, probably. There are only 3 people I would accept the offer from who I'm not related to. - aidensmama  336.5 #445 8:23AM
I would say let's go to breakfast and some shopping then just have breakfast at Disneyland. - maxinerenton  415.1 #311 8:29AM
No that would be awkward. - Linzee  516.2 #226 8:32AM
YES! - Princess Daisy  156.6 #2197 8:35AM
Heck yes! - Andrie  158.5 #2167 8:58AM
Agree w/ piecesof8...depends on how close of friends we are. - missariel33  105.1 #2969 9:00AM
ABSOLUTELY I'd go, then secretly go and pay for her meals, half the room, etc... - DisneyGrandma  338.2 #440 9:12AM
No I would feel weird about it too. - vincentchase  640.6 #169 9:14AM
I wouldn't accept such a gift from a good friend. Find someone who can pay their own way, or go on your own. There is something cathartic, enjoying the parks for a bit solo, and there are always a group of fun MWers to have fun with. 😊 - DisneyFanZoe  1096.7 #75 9:15AM
*looks up cathartic. Whoa... That's purgative. πŸ’© - MyPark  944.1 #91 10:00AM
Um ya!!! Except if it were a guy asking than no. - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}  278.6 #742 10:05AM
Hmmm...depends on what guy for me! Lol! - Sharkgrrl19  202.9 #1584 10:43AM
Well then again, I'm married.. So there wouldn't be no guy asking me anywayπŸ˜‚ - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}  278.6 #742 10:49AM
John Stamos? - meridafan  1035.3 #83 11:45AM
When are you going? - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}  278.6 #742 10:06AM
Wanted to go in July for my birthday - missaroura  139.0 #2460 9:36AM
The way I was brought up with this situation and still live by the rule is, if a person invites you they better pay up. Every time I invite someone no matter where to, I pay for everything and it works like clockwork one day for you another for me. So the answer to your question is YES! Lol. - Enome  9.4 #6975 10:29AM
Expense paid to include room and food? Then yes. I might feel a little weird but I'd probably give a big thank you gift. If no to my question, then I might say no only because I'd still have to figure out how to finance that and I wouldn't want to be a mooch. - cesium55  529.7 #216 10:41AM
Yes I would, in a heartbeep - susiet23  9.6 #6889 10:44AM
Yea I would of I were in that situation . You are offering cause I'm sure you want them to enjoy the magic with you . . I would go no questions asked :) - Winnie-loves-honey  57.3 #3606 10:47AM
You bet I will, wanna be my best friend? - VfxGenie  1353.0 #59 10:48AM
If u will go with me to the parks yes! - missaroura  139.0 #2460 9:38AM
