Who remembers when these guys would play on the balcony above the Jungle Cruise? Probably about 20ish years ago!!! 😊 We used to love stopping to watch them.

Well Jungle used to be a little bit longer than it is now (think like 30 seconds longer), but it was altered to put in the Indy queue. - IDVandalSkipperCM 1299.2 #63 9:33PM
@Churro It was a lot of things. The exit for Indy was the extended queue for JC (right where you can see the boats go by and see the temple of the snakes). Before that it was a CM parking lot (hence the Eeyore parking lot sign in the Indy queue). And before that, it was an area where the DL Bandstand was after being relocated a couple times since 1955. - BaseballMickey_CM 2863.8 #16 9:33PM

They had a few bands that would play in that balcony. I auditioned for a band for that venue back in the early 1970's. There were about 15 of us trying for the same trumpet position. I didn't get it. There were some very good college players in competition. - Murryd
