I've never noticed this dead tree in front of HM before today. Is it usually green and I'm just not that observant?!?!

This tree is just dormant, not dead💀... It is very much alive🌱This is a White weeping Mullberry (Morus alba pendula) During winter they go dormant. In another month or less and a little warm spring weather this will bud all new growth🌿... With the great job Disney maintenance gardeners do pruning this specimen, I think it looks very beautiful dormant, since it reveals years of meticulous branch reduction and build up from proper pruning. ✂🌳👍 - BambooMike  121.8 #2698 1:04PM
i am a hobby gardener and love the disney landscape/gardens. i personally love the fragrant plants hence plumie = plumeria - Plumiegirl  3322.9 #10 1:17PM
Plumie. I don't know what those flowers are to the right of the walkway entering Frontierland from the Hub but they are quite fragrant right now. - MyPark  944.1 #91 1:31PM

It is not dead just dormant. It is a weeping Mulberry tree and disney has kept it well pruned. It will be pretty and green around april. - Plumiegirl  3322.9 #10 1:01PM

Didn't mean to spark a debate. I was just thinking that I don't remember seeing this tree in front of HM before, dormant or otherwise. - LilSterner  2656.0 #17 1:18PM
i love that tree! last time we were there it had just begun to lose it's leaves. that was quick! - OhanaPhoto  1414.3 #56 1:45PM
Wow! Just a reminder that no matter how many times you are there, you can miss things. Being a part of MW makes me so much more observant when I'm in the park! - sstarlight  294.4 #642 3:05PM
For those of you who love the gardens of DL, there is a tour given of them, offered various times during the year, and they tell you all about the plants, the gardening, and even tips on doing things you want to at home like the parks do it. You also get a special packet of seeds to use at home. Last I looked it was about 3 hours long and about $60 before the AP discount but sounded fun. - secretagentangel  669.6 #154 3:32PM
******Say your sorry Lilstern! It's not dead!😂 - MadameLeota  935.8 #93 3:52PM
