First time poster here I appreciate all the inside tips. Can anyone fill me in on what food/drinks are allowed to be brought into the park? On a tight budget and taking my granddaughter for her first visit soon.
Snacks and drinks of any kind except glass or anything alcoholic (obviously) ;) we bring juice boxes, pb&j, pretzels, trail mix, granola bars, fruit snacks, lollipops stuff like that. Also, don't forget your hot cocoa packets and tea! You can get free hot water from any counter service restaurant. Oh, and ice water as well. Hope you have a lovely time! And welcome to the lounge! - Duchess_SMK

You can bring soft coolers, we do it all the time. As long as they are not ridiculously big. - Duchess_SMK 3543.7 #10 11:03AM
We bring a small soft side one with an ice pack and have never been told no. - PrincessAuroraMomma 394.6 #345 11:06AM
Huh, that's odd, I do it almost every trip. I guess it depends on the cm :( - Duchess_SMK 3543.7 #10 11:10AM
I just bring my son's soft lunch bag with an ice pack. They don't say anything. Maybe a couple of those would work. - aidensmama 339.4 #446 12:42PM
We have a cooler that is a backpack and is soooo much easier to carry! The plastic inside liner zips out for easy drying and we take all sorts of snacks in it. Really keeps stuff cold! - cinderelli 328.4 #496 2:39PM
I have taken subway and uncrustables into the park as well as chips, soda and other snacks. - aidensmama

Yup sadly you can't bring in yoo-hoo - AshleyLynn22 748.1 #137 11:00AM
Just about anything. Drink can only be in a plastic bottle I believe. And no alcohol can be brought onto the premises. Have fun. 😁 - Waites4DodgerEars

You can actually bring cans I do all the time with no problem. - leafs17 61.7 #3599 3:06PM
also, bring your own water / reusable water bottle because it aint cheap inside the parks! (the water fountain around it a small world area is nice (the one where Merida enters the cast member only access) - otilegna

Take your own water bottle--you can refill it from the tap/soda fountain at Plaza Inn, Rancho del Zocalo, and Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta to name a few places! The water is cold and tastes better than the water at the typical drinking fountain, in my opinion. - IDVandalSkipperCM

Don't, however, try to bring a whole birthday cake. Cupcakes, though, seem fine. - bluefairy

I don't like bringing snacks, disrupts my corn dog cravings. - madsdad

We always bring a bag with cliff bars (kid kind and adult kind), apple sauce pouches, fruit leathers/fruit twists, trail mix, fruit chews as a treat, bottles of water, couple cans of Diet Coke if my husband wants some. I'm sure ther is other stuff but I can't think of them right now. We don't bring whole meals, we enjoy the treat of getting something in the park but we bring lots of snacks because the choices are either silly expensive if it's healthier (have you seen the price of a single apple!) or just plain junk food which is good for a treat but not for snacking on all day (we get some butfor instance we share a single cotton candy between 4 of us because the kids really do not need their own). - Autoalice

Here is a FAQ on disney's site about what is/not permitted. I found it a bit humorous

Well I guess I won't bring my pogo stick, hand cuffs, urn with crated remains, nor my frisbee - Villescas8 592.9 #189 3:03PM
I always fill a backpack with an ice pack and frozen water bottles which also holds our lunch for the day. Last visit we had chicken salad sandwiches, chips, apples, and Capri suns. I then pack lots of snacks and candy. I carry another backpack to transfer my goodies into so im not carrying heavy weight all day. Feeding an entire family of six gets pricey for sure. - kueenofhearts
