Good morning! This day in Disney history, Jan. 26th, 1994. Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin opens in Toontown @ DL. One year & two days after Toontowns grand opening. The dark ride (inspired by the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit) contains 16 Audio-Animatronics, 59 animated props, and 20 special effects. The pic below is an invitation to the grand opening. A little extra ad-on: to test the concept of the attraction before it was built, the imagineers took a teacup from the Mad Tea Party and put it on the track inside the Pinocchio attraction to test if a ride vehicle could spin inside a dark ride. Also, in the concept art, this attraction was supposed to go up to a second floor and the cars were supposed to spin outside for a second and then spin back in. They built the second floor and the doors, but it was never used because they realized the ride vehicles were too heavy to go up to the second floor (and with guests standing under the outdoors part). If you stand by the Fast Pass machines and look towards the left of the front of the attraction, you can still see where the cars were supposed to go outside. - BaseballMickey_CM

good morning ,my favorite part is at the entrance of the ride if you look art the first wall there are license plates acronyms that spell words of disney films and attractions with the year of release. I posted a pic a looooonnnnngggg time ago if your interested in seeing them but i like this detail. - pikarich
