So since the Disneyland 5k is already sold out in the first week of registration. I have decided to wait til January 2014 to do a Disney 5k. Until then I am going to go for the Sea World Pole to Pole 5k in April as a starter 5k. It looks like there is no pace requirement and I can see what my pace would be at this one. Then I could only work to improve my time for the Tinkerbell race weekend in January! And this race is in San Diego so I don't have to travel and pay for a hotel! Only thing is now instead of 7 months to train I now only have 3 months to train.
You can do it! We've decided to wait as well and do a 5K closer to home in April so I feel for you. We can totally do this though! - cynDOLEwhip

Where do you live? And thanks!!! This will be my starter race since I'm not sure if I will be able to do a 16 min per mile pace at the Disney one yet. Then we will do the tink one! But my husband and I are so excited to do one regardless. Since I have been taking care of my weight (by doing no exercise) I need to now do something to start toning my body. Adding a run/walk 3 times a week will help with that. And hopefully help me get to my goal weight faster (only 72.8 pounds to go!) and I want to prove to myself I can do a 5k! I can't wait til I can't say to my disabilities "I win, you lose"! - ImAlwaysCrazy 646.4 #167 11:12PM
