Have yet to eat there. Friend of mine is one of the chef's and he always invited me to call him when I'm in town to eat there or Blue Bayou. Keep chickening out though because I don't want to look like I'm asking for a comped meal. - KermitFan13

Don't think of it as that. Enjoy that you have someone you know in your life that wants to do a nice gesture for you. Take the gift of good and be gracious, that's the best gift you can give them. People love to give and it feels extra nice to have those receiving be full of appreciation for it.
