I've read like 3 different articles saying the same thing that their source is from someone within the production, so it seems real. My only concern is that Abrams denied it multiple times and said he's a big fan and much rather be part of the audience than behind the camera, so weird how he was convinced suddenly. But nonetheless I'm excited, I was never a Star Trek fan, but the newest one he made was absolutely wonderful! Thanks for posting! - sleepyhead
