When I was younger toontown was so much fun and full of things to discover. But now it seriously need a refurbishment, update and TLC! It's starting to become the sketchy part of DL. - Miss-E-Mouse  779.0 #121 11:32AM
Agreed! - fairyshley  467.5 #260 11:43AM
I absolutely agree with you! - MoonWillow  367.4 #377 11:47AM
I'm in favor tearing it down and building Star War land. - vincentchase  636.7 #167 12:39PM

I honestly am rather meh on Toon Town. I like that Mickey and Minnie have their houses there and both houses are very fun, hands on places for minis. I like Gadget Go Coaster, but don't make the trip out there just for that. I'm not a fan of Roger Rabbit. The little garden play area is a plus. I just feel like the place needs some re-imagineering. Places like Donald's boat and Goofy's house are spaces with great hands- on potential for the minis but really fall short. The musical fountains haven't worked right in years and the little trolly car looks so sad just sitting there. Didn't the treehouse used to have a slide? Now it's so un-interesting. I just feel like toon-town has gotten neglected and really has great potential but is not up to modern Disney standards. - MoonWillow  367.4 #377 11:57AM
I remember Donald's house and the treehouse had a slide. The treehouse also had a ball pit with acorn-balls :]. - MEHlanie_Mouse  690.1 #146 1:01PM
You don't want to know about the ball pit. 😷 - bluefairy  627.0 #173 2:28PM
Lol! Yeah, there are some changes that are just for the best! - MoonWillow  367.4 #377 2:47PM
I completely forgot about the ball pit. πŸ™ˆπŸ˜· - Duchess_SMK  3243.8 #11 5:27PM
I miss the trolley - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  321.2 #514 7:50PM
If they got rid of toontown where would everyone live!? - AshleyLynn22  747.6 #136 9:09PM
As always SMK... You do a great job. I love to learn and look forward to your posts! I remember this cartoon. Disney cartoons were so much better than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I loved Bugs Bunny, Beanie and Cecil, Jonny Quest, Clutch Cargo, but Disney cartoons were hands down the best! I like Toon Town because it is fun to explore and Go Go Gadget Coaster is one of the little known great rides, but TT would be more fun if my minis were still mini and it could use some imaginearing TLC!!! - Boundin  423.6 #298 1:19AM
I love Toontown, I just think it needs some good lovin'... my very first visit was right after it opened :] - MEHlanie_Mouse  690.1 #146 11:26AM
and my favorite parts are all the interactive elements, it's perfect for kids that love to grab anything they see :] - MEHlanie_Mouse  690.1 #146 11:32AM
I agree, it needs some TLC! My minis love the firehouse/jail area! - Duchess_SMK  3243.8 #11 11:49AM
I do remember that cartoon!!! And you might think I'm crazy, but I totally love Gadget's Go Coaster! I think it's so fun! Thanks SMK! Another great Disney History post! - MyPark  943.6 #91 11:31AM
Good morning MyPark! Teehee, idk why but that doesn't surprise me. 😊 - Duchess_SMK  3243.8 #11 11:51AM
Have you ridden it??? It's FUN! - MyPark  943.6 #91 11:57AM
I have once, I remember if being really short, but fun. - Duchess_SMK  3243.8 #11 5:28PM
I love Pluto's Playmate! It always makes me so sad and anxious when the octopus holds him underwater and his "playmate" has to resuscitate him! - FunOnABun  19.3 #5121 11:31AM
Me too! I find myself holding my breath! Lol - Duchess_SMK  3243.8 #11 5:28PM
Awww. Love Pluto! So much fun! - meridafan  1031.9 #84 11:31AM
Me too. Hope you are well, thank you as always for your support. 😘 - Duchess_SMK  3243.8 #11 5:30PM
I love Toon town!! I have so many memories there when I visited as a kid. Getting a pic with Roger Rabbit is a memory I will always remember. I miss the trolley moving. My kids love it. - RickChavez  2177.5 #30 11:56AM
Thats right! I forgot it used to move!!! - Duchess_SMK  3243.8 #11 1:13PM
Hey Churro, did you get your TOT pose from Toontown opening day? lol - aprilinjune4  380.7 #352 12:03PM
I was SO wondering if someone would say that! πŸ˜‚ - Duchess_SMK  3243.8 #11 5:33PM
Toon Town has so much potential, and yet it is just blah. - aprilinjune4  380.7 #352 12:05PM
I didn't see ToonTown until 2006. I agree that it needs a makeover. The trolley that doesn't run makes no sense. Ava got on last time we were there, and was heartbroken that it would not go anywhere. - ScooterMike  1959.8 #35 12:22PM
I loved getting a photo with Minnie outside her house in November. I personally like Toon Town. - RapunzelledColey  12.3 #6149 12:25PM
Big fan of that are and I agree that it needs some TLC. Roger rabbits car toon spin is also great, but I think it could also use another ride back there. The meet and greats make it worth while too. - MakilHeru  4.0 #13682 12:52PM
That is so cute with Pluto, thank you! We like certain parts of Toontown...but we really don't spend tons of time there to be honest, even with my little ones. Agree it could use some improvements! Thanks for the awesome post!! 😊 - MinnieMousewife  569.9 #192 2:15PM
I like toontown, and i agree it needs a face lift. My favorite part of toontown is the symphony fountain and you jump on an insturment on the ground and it plays that sound! the post office is a lot of fun too - GoofyMom77  108.5 #2920 2:32PM
Wait! I did not knowabout that!!!! Thank you! - otilegna  836.3 #107 5:04PM
I tend to call it TylenolTown. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1762.5 #43 3:37PM
Thanks for your history post - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1762.5 #43 3:37PM
Great history post; thanks! My favorite part of Toon Town is that TNT box, because when I was little it used to freak me out when I pressed it down! - JRDrummer_CM  789.4 #117 5:06PM
Aw everyone hates ToonTown, but I love Minnie's house! Fun places for taking pictures. Other than that there's not much I do there. πŸ˜„ - Jillian  765.4 #128 7:01PM
I wouldn't say hate. That's a little strong. - MyPark  943.6 #91 8:06PM
******I know how Pluto feels with frustrating encounters! Lol, I love Toontown, especially Mickeys's House! Thanks for the history class!☺ - MadameLeota  933.0 #93 8:03PM
I'm pro toontown... that is all ^_^ - KylaShea  533.2 #213 8:10PM
Since toon town is so small and called toon "town" is it technically not a land? - Philliprocks  275.3 #770 9:05PM
Toontown was amazing when it opened. I think with all the new technology Disney could really amp up the interactive features. Donald's boat and Chip and Dales treehouse get looked over. Cartoon Spin is one of my favorite attractions though! That queue is amazing!! - BettyPoop  232.0 #1211 11:09PM
