I was thinking of getting a Disney Dooney & Bourke purse but heard that they turn yellow. Is this true? Has this happened to anyone?

I have the white sketch bag & a yellow satchul and the only thing I noticed is the back is Turning blue/ black from rubbing on my jeans but you can't tell from the front :) I'm still obsessed with my bags! - BubbaLoo

I have a nice brown leather one and a white vinyl disney wristlet. The wristlet has held up okay, but I don't use it regularly, the leather strap wore down a bit where it is attached. I have a Harvey NBC baguette bag and love it. Mrsblue I know has had the white vinyl ones turn yellow, though. I'd go with leather when buying dooney. - bluefairy

I don't know but my Dooney that's got the same coating on it is looking a little weird at the pleated areas where it kinda comes up from the material and overall looking lighter - cesium55

I had a Disneyland wristband for only 3 months and it lost most of its color. It went from a pretty shiny blue to silver. I ended up cutting it off - Philliprocks

I've had mine about a year and a half and it hasn't yellowed . And mine has more of an off white background , which might show discoloration more than other colors. I find it to be very durable actually :) - eviljules

I've had mime for three years and he only problem I've had is the blue from he handle coming off. My SIL got the same one has mine a few months ago and wears a lot of black and hers has turned black from where it rubs. She sent it back and is waiting to see if they will replace it. - Boo-Gus

I do not have a Dooney purse from Disney but I do have 1 similar to it. my answer to your question is yes and no. it will eventually turn yellow but takes a long time. my purse started changing color after 2 to 3 years - stevesdisneyprincess

I don't have a Disney D&B yet but I do own two regular D&Bs. Have had them for about six years now and no problems at all. Just wondering if the 'yellowing' you're talking about is with the tan leather trim. If so its natural for leather to darken over time based off how much it's used and taken care of. - KermitFan13

If you want feedback in the Harvey's, I have two bags: plain purple (not Disney) and the Minnie one. Both are cross body. I love them and get compliments all the time because they're so unique and very durable. The only drawback is that some people think they're too heavy, but I don't even notice it because I always have a lot of stuff, so all of my bags are always heavy, lol.
