I'm bringing antiseptic wipes from now on before I get on Haunted Mansion...I'm guessing it isn't ectoplasm I have to worry about! - DisneyDavidEMT 456.9 #269 5:08PM
Good idea. Maybe we should bring wipes for ALL the rides on that list. - FindMeAtTheCove 237.3 #1164 5:47PM

That poor kid is gonna come out singing that song if that's the only attraction she can go on. 😂 - Waites4DodgerEars 689.1 #152 2:26PM
Pretty much any attraction without a height requirement is fair game. Some pregnant women choose to go on POTC, others don't. Do listen to your doctor though and the restrictions s/he has suggested. Please, for the love of Mickey, don't go on Indy (unless you want to go into early labor....)! - IDVandalSkipperCM

When I was pregnant with Petite, I went on Toy Story. I'm not sure what I was thinking but I held my belly and screamed the whole time. I did chose to go on POTC and this is now one of Petite's favorite attractions. - LaPearleNoir 620.9 #179 2:49PM
Lostgirl7988 told me about TSMM and now I won't go on it while pregnant. I've been on POTC once and hope to ride it a couple more times this week! - IDVandalSkipperCM 1326.3 #61 2:53PM
Listen to her she knows about riding rides while prego. - MeridasHair 332.8 #475 4:34PM
Yes, I rode POTC with no problems. Also took petite on as an infant! - LaPearleNoir 620.9 #179 4:44PM
I went on POTC 7.5 months along. It was awesome. LilNinja liked it too. - MousekaNinja 372.5 #380 4:51PM
when I was pregnant I googled that same question and found many forums with lists of okay rides :) - Mirror_rorriM

If it has a height restriction it is safe to assume it's not safe to ride. Pretty sure all attractions with height restrictions say on the sign to avoid if pregnant. I did POTC once when I was pregnant with my third. Not sure if it was coincidence but she went sideways a day or so after. I am more inclined to think it was coincidence because she kept flipping from sideways to head down and once breach for a few weeks near the end, thankfully she finally gave up and went head down and stayed in time to not need a c-section. I never went on it again while pregnant though. Toy Story Mania you have to plant your feet pretty firmly, which I always do even not pregnant, but I never felt uncomfortable going on it. I would sometimes pass on things if I was having one of those days where I felt like ick and sit while my husband took our 2 boys on something. We went a whole lot while i was pregnant with my third. There was always more than enough for me to do and see. - Autoalice

The general rule of thumb is you can ride any attraction that does not have a height requirement. - MyPark

Sometimes pregnant women go into labor while visiting the park. When this happens they take them to ToT instead of a hospital. :) - JRDrummer_CM 793.0 #123 6:29PM

Wondering that myself. - Lelundrial 344.9 #437 4:38PM
I thought the same thing, which is why I went on it. Jerked me around and made this mama nervous. - LaPearleNoir 620.9 #179 4:42PM
It is pretty jolty, and that lap bar might be a problem--probably, some women might be ok, but others shouldn't risk it. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 439.1 #288 4:42PM
Got it. Thanks for explaining. 😃 - MousekaNinja 372.5 #380 4:48PM
Shows you how often I have been on it. I don't remember it being jerky at all. - Lelundrial 344.9 #437 4:58PM
Exactly! Go on it preggo and the you'll get it! 😂😂😂 - LaPearleNoir 620.9 #179 5:57PM
I was pregnant with my 2nd about 5 months along and I went on POTC . It just happened to be that a boat from behind ours bumped ours very hard ... I know this is unusual . But it happened and it hurt !! I had abdominal cramping. It was my fault I shouldn't have ridden . I learned my lesson , and baby and I were fine. But I wouldn't recommend to a pregnant woman to ride - eviljules
